Quite a transfer window for Barcelona. Messi leaving to PSG. Losing the battle for Wijnaldum to PSG and to end it all; getting Luuk de Jong on loan...

To be honest, I don't know much about him.
    He's a handsome devil though isn't he?

Looks like he has a shot on him. More goals from midfield would be welcome.

Saul Niguez is an excellent CM/CDM. Chelsea have done a number there to get him ion on loan.
Ex-Mod. Technically retired, they just won't let me quit.

Liverpool's transfer window was like a multiple choice question where all the answers are applicable for use by the club's PR department.

    a) Klopp is happy with the squad
    b) If there was the right player they would sign him
    c) They're focusing on renewing contracts
    d) They need to sell players in order to buy
    e) They need to sell more non-homegrown players to make room for more
    f) They don't want to block the pathway of youngsters that may or may not exist
    g) The club can't possible have the same injury plagued season as last year
    h) Next summer will be the big summer (said the same thing for 2 years)
    i) They don't want to sign players that may break the wage structure at the club
    j) They've spent too much on moving training complexes
    k) This squad won the League 2 years ago, so why can't they do the same thing again?
    l) Other clubs are improving in order to catch up with Liverpool, so there's no need for Liverpool to budge.
    m) Klopp likes a smaller squad, and would appreciate the challenge of losing Salah and Mane for a month in January
    n) The club needs to qualify for the Champions' League before spending money on new players
    o) It's hard to tell if revenue streams will be back to normal for the club in the current season
    p) Divock Origi
    q) Net spend
    r) Moneyball (this one maybe outdated)

Curious as I don't know, but who is it they need to ask permission from to change a shirt number of players?

Either way Ronaldo as #7 and Cavani #21 is just how it should be! Glad they were allowed to change.

The FA, as Cavani was already registered (and played) at 7

african cup of nations must be on at somepoint too, get rid of zaha for a bit hopefully since hes deadweight atm.

Liverpool will probably be hardest hit, Salah and Mane etc gonna be good too see Klopp have a little moan.

I don't think Klopp will moan about anything. He's spent all summer saying he's delighted with the squad.

So it's not like he forgot about the AFCON. I think most players will miss like 2-3 games at most?

Klopps complained about the wind in the past, of course he will complain about the fixture list.

Ferguson has complained about everything under the sun too. Means jack squat. He wouldn’t complain about the squad because he’s had to stand by the club’s lack of recruitment. So it’ll create problems if he does, and is why he keeps saying he is happy with the squad. If he whinges, people will ask why he didn’t recruit, given the AFCON is a scheduled competition. It’s just basic logic.
