Banhammer's going to be swinging hard in here lol, lot of tasteless comments. Grats to Echo, it's good to see Limit really pushing EU, honestly for years it didn't feel like it was even close between Method and the US, and honestly that's why it's a little more interesting.

Seriously, if one team dominated sports so badly that every time they won the championship in a complete blowout, who would give a **** besides the fans of that one team? Nobody really, this rivalry is good for the game, for half a decade it was "oh look Method cleared a week before anyone else again *yawn*"

It felt just based on the amount of guilds crowding 9/10 and kill counts that maybe some of the bosses were under-tuned, but a week hammering nonstop at this raid is probably good enough. I'll be tuning in for the next raid tier!

I totally agree, it is nice to see some more competition, this makes the whole event more interesting. Even the Asian guilds are pumping hard and they have their reset thursdays.

Glad they got it. Looked up the guild and saw that Blizzard did a hot fix through one of their attempts that messed them up big time. Didn't know Blizz would even do hot fixes until at least reset. Good on them for pushing through and winning the race.

Hotfixes always happen and happened in the past mid-raid.

Seeing how the RWF is carring WoW i am certain that the next tier will be a global release at long last, it is probably the only form of e-sports that matters within the blizzard community and the second is not even close.

???? wow is not an esports game and never will be. blizzard doesnt care about world first raiding. they want a smooth experience for the majority. a small challenge for the few hardcore guilds is enough

But unfortunately Blizzard is trying to make it into esport. They've been doing all these mythic+ events to promote it.

World first raiding has more viewers than Blizzard sponsored mythic+ events, so there is a chance Blizzard will give more attention to it and will implement worldwide reset.

I feel the above truly reflect what is happening in the US and its allies, or has been happening for some time.

How bad can a QA be when, after months of testing, they have to hotfix a fight WHILE WORLD RACE IS GOING ON...

    This is pathetic.

No game has ever been bug free, no game has ever...ever been bug free, yet people think they should be, I do not know why.

In your dreams. They have been turning wow into an Esport for the past 3 or 4 years.

The game is literally all about mythic rushing and ranking crap.

Was able to watch some of their pulls over the weekend. Congrats Echo and getting it done before reset.

Yeah such a great thing that Echo did it before the reset. Would have been robbed without even be able to compete.

    True.

Also, that whole headstart shit gots to go! Blizzard grow some balls and release Mythic raids globally at the same time, stop catering to one side!

Like Gingi said on stream, just add a new EU server with NA release schedules, thats one option too!

Some of NA say "headstart doesnt matter". Well, clearly you are not a world first raider, just tune in to Echo's stream this race and see what they say about it, its a disgusting fucking disadvantage!
