    Abilities Restoration Druid should have

    Twilight Dream
After X seconds, deal Y damage in a large area around you, pacifying enemies, making them unable to use abilities for Z seconds.
    Celestial Alignment
Celestial bodies align, granting X% haste for Y sec.
    Nature's Balance
While in combat you generate X mana every Y sec.

While out of combat you generate Z mana every A sec.
    Astral Communion
    Generate X mana.
    Lunar Shower
When you cast Moonfire, you gain Lunar Shower. Lunar Shower increases the direct damage done by your Moonfire spell by X%, and reduces the mana cost by Y%. This effect stacks up to Z times and lasts A sec.

Care to explain why you think Restoration should have what is mostly Balance themed abilities?

Healers already have way too many damaging spells.
Fact (because I say so): TBC > Cata > Legion > ShaLa > MoP > BfA > WoD = WotLK

True true. They really only should have 3.

Perhaps a better approach would be to state what problems Resto druids have - what they lack compared to other healers.
Then discussion can go from there.

You suggested 6 abilities most of which are a mixed jumble of purposes.
Its better design if you have less abilities but that they have a separated & clear cut purpose.

I guess in raid they don't have as much? they're
god sends for kite meta. Granted resto shaman has similar enough utility as well

And the tiny fraction for whom heroic raids are currently well tuned? Too bad,so sad! With the arterial bleed of subs the fastest it's ever been, the vanity development that gives you guys your own content is no longer supportable.
