Unhappy Is it too much to dream of one day having a "Hunter" like that in WoW??

I posted this video below in another forum thread but I thought it would be interesting to bring it here for fellow Hunters to see and comment on. In Guil Wars 2 we have a class/spec that is a mix of Hunter MM + Rogue subtlety... and much more fun even if WoW allowed today to merge Hunter with Rogue.
The name is "Thief DeadEye". He doesn't have perma-stealth or Vanish... like Rogue but in the middle of combat you can be invisible for a few seconds as many times as you want and teleport dozens of yards to wherever you want as many times as you want.
I have this silly dream of one day Blizzard would give us Dark Rangers with a spec for the Hunter and that the gameplay would be similar to Thief Dead Eye.
    What do you think?

The best vision of the WoW hunter class is probably Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn.

Ranged, melee, pets (albeit mechanical ones), traps... What's not to like.

I watched a couple minutes. Other than the rolling, isn't that basically just a Lone Wolf MM hunter?

If your perfect designed hunter is in GW2 maybe just play GW2 ?

WoW doesn't have to copy every single thing you wish for.

100% of skills are instant cast. The thief can become invisible (as many times as he wants) and teleport (as many times as he wants). How can this just be a "MM from GW2"?? If MM can do this in PVP plzzz... teach me Sempai!!!

I also play with my thief in GW2. I'm just showing how some "ranged" classes are in other games and asking if you guys find it interesting as I do. There's no need to be rude.

The main things I'd want to steal from GW 2 are the name (ranger, way cooler) and the transmog. The actual class plays pretty badly, especially the bow skills. WoW rapid fire is way better and faster, and the spec feels better to play (like the rest of the game, really)

If MM could do that in PvP then WoW would be GW2, because such kit fits GW2 but not WoW.

    Go play that game instead.

I think if the MM could do that in WoW... the game would still be WoW.
Your argument is similar to "If this ship had a restaurant it would be a *restau-ship*. If you want to eat and be at sea at the same time... build a restaurant at sea". lol

Dead eye is a interesting specc and while it could work well with MMs playstyle, ive lost all hopes for whoever designs hunters in, especielly when you see how bad hunters are in DF (MM dead in the water, Surv aswell and BM got extremly clunky due to the nerf). But its a nice dream for sure, even if i dont main DE in GW2 anymore.

Sounds like you'd enjoy GW2 gameplay. You can play both or, if you are unhappy with WoW, unsubscribe from it and play what you'd prefer.

You're allowed to like stuff from other games and ask the community what they think of similar gameplay being added to this game.

Just......keep in mine what community you're asking lol

OT: Seems neat, I always liked the gameplay style in GW2, just couldn't get behind the story and world there so it never quite sucked me in. Not sure how well that'd translate to WoW though.
