Reservoir Anima Cap Increased to 200k

Reservoir Anima Cap Increased to 200k
With a hotfix that just went live, the Reservoir Anima Cap has been increased from 35k to 200k.

With a hotfix that has just gone live in all regions, the cap has been increased to 200,000 Anima.

Thank you for your feedback on this and other issues!

We intend to introduce a way for Anima to be transferred to alts (or to other Covenants on the same character) from characters who have fully upgraded their Covenant Sanctum in patch 9.1.5.

Good news, but I won't clear my bags and dump my anima in just yet. I have to know if the anima reservoir is gonna be linked only to one covenant or if I get to keep if it I change to get stuff from another covenant.

A very good point I hadn't considered. Hopefully Blizzard did.

when they REALLY wanna sell their new „look ppl, we do something“ pseudo image, they should link the anima reservoir between covs, ofc. otherwise all ppl staple their anima in inventory and not put it into the reservoir. which would make a cap increase change useless. even that ****** at blizz hq should be that intelligent enough, to think about that. when WE think about that, after 10 seconds, hopefully THEY do too. so, hopefully Asmon is wrong, when he says no one at Blizz plays their own product.

Blizzard reads this and thinks the solution is to raise the cap? So you have more of a currency you have no use for? Solid logic, I expect nothing less.

See above they already mentioned above funneling it to another covenant on the same character.

Again, it was mentioned in the blue post above. Are people not reading the post and just instantly trying to find something wrong with it?

Listen, I know blizzard has no good will whatsoever(for a good reason) and I not going to stand here and defend them in the current state of things, but some of you are purposefully misreading things just so you guys can get angry.

That part wasn't there when MMO put up the news. It came a couple of moments later.

Yeah, the yours and the other seems to have been before the edit. My intention wasn't to be snippy with you just to update with what it said. If it sounded snippy then I apologize. The other two the quote was up there and it was like they were purposefully trying to complain about something that was already covered.

yep, this sounds definitely like „shared reservoir“. or at least „transferable“. so it seems a safe bet to put the anima into the reservoir of your main.

sorry, i just not remembered the blue post. i quickly read it a few hours ago. and tbh: without much interests. i just play the parts of the game i still like, before i fade away after 16+ years. and these days i am no longer that much interessted in what blizz CMs or marketing says. not to complain. just as an reasonable excuse, why i mentioned that blue post, without remembering it in detail by myself.

What a meaningless little thing and a casual sidestep of the question. No mention of things to spend anima on or transferring it. Just a bigger hole for your shadowland fun bux

Probably the same treatment as Soul Ash, buy for 6, get 5. Or some other ratio.

To be fair, raising the cap is probably one of the easiest things to do as a stopgap measure just to address people who are capped. Changing the cap of a currency should be extremely simple from a systems perspective, I don't even know if they need to take the servers down to implement a change to a currency cap. I'm about 70% certain they have to restart the servers to add a new item to a vendor.

An Anima transfer item should be pretty easy to make (just create a new BoA item and stock it on existing Anima vendors), but I think they'd be required to run it by the balance team to decide how much of a tax to implement on transferring Anima between characters. Hence why we're not going to see an item for transferring Anima right away; upping the Anima cap will allow people to continue to stockpile Anima so that when an item to transfer Anima is introduced that stockpiled Anima will be usable.

Frankly they're actually handling the Anima issue a lot better than the Covenant issue simply by virtue of not insulting people with "The design of the system worked exactly as intended, we were totally right until we weren't" line.

Yes, yes. Goooood Goooood, something something darkside complete

Any Blizzard simps who still say Blizzard didn't lose half their subs clearly is just delusional at this point. I mean in one patch they're literally adding in everything players wanted in beta. It's called being desperate.

    -Here is X.
-FUCKING BLIZZ SO DESPERATE GIVING US X. PATHETIC.

Only thing desperate i see lately on forum is how desperately people try to find something to shit on blizz for the mere reason to shit on blizzard.

No they'd just rather keep complaining because they think all of these changes are because of the incessant complaining when in reality they were probably going to happen sooner or later anyway.

I mean I've seen SOOOOO much more negativity flood the forums with the changes than positivity. It's all a bunch of Veruca Salts just crying "But Daddy I want this!" when they are being give so much already that they didn't even need.

It... Literally says both of those though.

You can swap covenants and use the anima there to buy the rewards there and upgrade the sanctum.

While also saying you'll be able to send it to alts.

How are you going to call it a sidestep if you're criticizing them for answers they did give?

My high level ones still have occasionally lost on missions meanwhile I've had a couple times where my "death mission" lowbies from other covs have succeeded somehow(just had today lvl 30-36 venthyr group with the 2 new healers, croman, steadyhands, and Bogdan beat a lvl 55 elite mission).

So you're admitting that there's justification in them sticking to their guns then?
