You mean like Mike Tyson fights in the early 90s? HBO would have 3 hours set aside for it...then a minute and a half later it's over. Then we get almost 2.5 hours of "The History of Boxing". Announcers even referred to it as "The Art of the 90 Second Knockout" after it became a recurring theme.

I unfortunately don't have the luxury of Work From Home, I need to actually be on site to walk jobs to be able to provide quotes and write up the work plans for the work being done. Plus I couldn't take working from home I did it for a month after Shelter in Place hit back in March of last year and fsgjkfklgjfdfdkgjdfklgjdfkljgdsfjgnjkdfsbnkj;fds HELL no.

On Topic, this is some damn good Anti-Recall ammo for the future if it cost CA Taxpayers 276 Million

Populists (and "national socialists") look at the supposedly secret deals that run the world "behind the scenes". Child's play. Except that childishness is sinister in adults.

I knew who that moron was before this. He literally works for Chinese propagandists the Epoch Times. And similar to the Hitler Defender Candace Owens, he doesn't care about actual issues and claims that racism doesn't exist, simply because he is a useful idiot for the Republicans to point to when they claim to have that "black friend" like Candace, Ben Carson, and others. They know they can make money hand over fist because of gullible right wingers and their donors.

Haven't they had the Nazi/skinhead problem in California for quite a while now?

    Interesting comparison.

The first image is the recall vote, bluish is "yes" and orange is "no". Second image is the covid cases by county, the darker the worse things are there.

Sure is quite a lot of overlap between the areas hit worst by covid and the areas that wanted to get rid of Newsom. I'm just glad that most of those counties aren't terribly big so they got absolutely trounced in this recall farce.
I like how all of the replies to that is funny, but then the recommended tweets after that had some good points.

I like the ones where they say that if the recall vote fails, that you should be required to reimburse the state. That should be a fucking federal law, so that every state that has that option, should be forced to pay for it.

You think Newsom is going to celebrate his victory at the French Laundry? Hell, I would.

Well, at the very least the state employee vaccine mandate is gonna happen now. Guess my cousin I never see anymore is moving to 'Bama.

He should bring Keller out to cook for him at home instead.

The frivolous recall campaign by the GOP in California just wasted $276 MILLION dollars of taxpayer money. And it wasn't remotely close, a complete waste of time and money. The GOP used to be the party of fiscal responsibility. What happened? Now it's the party of misinformation, crazy debunked conspiracy theories, race baiting, and winning above all else. That is a lot of money thrown away by the GOP that could have gone to schools, solving the homeless issue, COVID relief, fighting wildfires, etc.

Thankfully it sounds like California's legislature is going to ensure that a party never wastes taxpayer money with a frivolous recall attempt again, and the costs will need to be covered by the party requesting the recall. But the right loves to bash California, and now there is a very easy response for that. 276 million responses in fact. Herman Cain was less of an opportunist than Larry Elder, and that's saying something.

*chuckles at your use of the word "now"*
    this ain't new
they just claimed to be fiscally responsible, facts never bore that out
misinformation, conspiracy theories, race baiting, winning above all else? Hell, look at campaign ads over the last 70 years and you'll realize they've been whoring to those for a long time, they just before refuse to kiss them in public.

its like when people ask "What happened to Guiliani?" or "What happened to Trump?"
anyone that actually had to deal with either of them over the years will tell you, nothing happened, cept the cameras stayed on them longer instead of just the nice edited content.
The GOP can be summed up the same way.
"Law and Order", lots of places have had that, Russia, North Korea, Saddam's Iraq.
Laws can be made to enforce order of cruelty and brutality.
Equality and Justice, that is how you have peace and a society that benefits all.

France did it to Haiti so it wouldn't be the first time. Guy's got a precedent.

It has never been the party of fiscal responsibility. GOP is the party that creates the deficit only to then bash the democrats for there being a deficit (even though democrats lower it). Fiscal responsibility, state rights, small government, you name it. All GOP slogans are just populist lip service that they don't actually give a damn about.

Not really. At most that was a brief flirtation during the 50s. Before that, they pranced merrily into the Great Depression and afterwards, they went as you say.

In the polls, you have people who like flapping their mouths.

At the polls, the ones who don't stop there.

Distribution appears to be unequal across the parties.
