Sure you have, where are they managing to do this on <$20K a year? And most welfare programs have cutoffs after a few years or other requirements, so I'm not sure how they're sustaining living like this.

I'm sure you can imagine all kinds of theoretical. The problem is that the actual real-world data doesn't support these bogeymen any more than it supported Reagan's "Welfare Queen" racist bullshit.

No one has the autonomy to end another life. If you are a women who wants to be sexual active then you should take appropriate contingencies to prevent pregnancy if not wanted.

ffs theirs even the morning after pill. And again, if you can't afford it then put the baby up for adoption. And yes putting the baby in an imperfect system is infinitely better than taking away their fucking lives.

You really asking why they should work?? Even unemployment doesn't last forever. Unemployment also doesn't have insurance. And then the idiots wonder why their stuck with huge bill or shitty medical practice.

yes, why should they have to work meaningless office jobs and thankless service work that doesn't even pay enough to keep them from living on the street...? because the US has the worst healthcare system in the developed world? and it bankrupts you for the sin of not dying sooner???

Does that mean men shouldn't be able to masturbate? After all, that's a life going down the drain... or into a sock.

Oh, and the morning after pill would end that same life.

They're just free thinkers speaking truth in the liberal echo chambers. It's just a coincidence that they make the same arguments word for word that Stephen Crowder and Ben Shapiro make. Independent thinkers who push back on conformity... yeah, something like that. /wanking motion

Progressives are the new idealogical psychopaths of our generation. Anything even a little to the right of them is fascist in their eyes.

You’re confusing progressives with extremist leftists. Very different. But good example of horseshoe politics there, bro.

The only ones I see using that argument are the same people who keep on defending fascists.

To the Left on some matters and to the Right on others, with a reasonably even division. Hence, I've not voted in the poll.

I think Republicans, and their cries of "THAT'S SOCIALISM!" and "THAT'S COMMUNISM!" have them beat.

Sadly facts seem to drive the direction on the political compass.

I look at the facts and determine my view on that subject. Generally I go with what law, science and experts in a given field say on something. I do not listen to talking heads on network media, facebook memes, emotions raged from ones world view being challenged and half of the people here.

The most important disputes about politics/policy don't usually involve theories that are physically *testable* though, so how can you use science to help determine your politics? Can you be specific and precise about how you are doing that? Most political, social, and economic disputes are actually about moral philosophy which isn't compatible with science.

The notion that science can tell you to adopt a left/right/libertarian policy position is a misunderstanding in most cases.

Not really when the right, especially in America, is anti science and often adopts platform planks that are absolutely perpendicular to science and facts.
