That means they have nothing to show.
That means they have nothing to show.

Literally on the front page and people are talking (crap) about it there.
At this rate FFXIV will release a second expansion before WoW 10.0 comes out. We might see the longest content drought in the history of the game, eclipsing even 14 months of SoO.
I honestly don't think this is a "they have nothing to show" deal.
This feels more like "Activision cancelled the event because they were afraid if they put the devs out there right now they'll start talking about A Better ABK."
There is still an expansion out there, though we now have to worry about a later 2023 launch. There's definitely a 2022 launch for OW2 out there. Diablo Immortal still isn't out.

Ofc no blizzconline woke people will never face the gamers at hard times.
The devs at blizzard in 2021 value safe spaces and will never face the gamers ever again and live in their own happy bubble till they run out money and go out of buisness.
And then at that point they go to Twitter and blame the straight white males for killing blizzard.
It's an unnecessary cost. Activision doesn't do conventions online or live. The cost isn't just money either, it also includes preparation for the event and such. They're having a hard enough time maintaining their own games.
Supremely disappointing, but hardly surprising.
There is a topic, and well, we don't know? There is a statement that they do have announcements to make and which will be coming next year.
And honestly, considering the drama that has been about the company, and the situation of people, I can live without a BlizzConline if they still announce things as they claim they will.

9.2 is most likely in Q1 of 2022 - though, that is only a dream, 9.1.5 is off the table now, so now the skeleton crew can join the main crew again. Though, it is all down to if Shadowlands has 3 major patches, or only 2..
FOMO: "Fear Of Missing Out", also commonly known as people with a mental issue of managing time and activities, many expecting others to fit into their schedule so they don't miss out on things to come. If FOMO becomes a problem for you, do seek help, it can be a very unhealthy lifestyle..
Conventions are relics from the past, nothing suprising here, most videogame company have already canceled their own or will soon
Let's keep it confined to the news post unless offering some kind of additional content. Closing this.
"We're more of the love, blood, and rhetoric school. Well, we can do you blood and love without the rhetoric, and we can do you blood and rhetoric without the love, and we can do you all three concurrent or consecutive. But we can't give you love and rhetoric without the blood. Blood is compulsory. They're all blood, you see." ― Tom Stoppard, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead
