Nope, it shows how much they hate Putin and think his death will resolve this quickly. Also even if they were somewhat true it doesn't guarantee Putin would croak next month look at Dick Cheney and Donald Trump. These guys should not be alive but they are the human body can be very resilient.

thought that the 220,000 children deported to Russia and kidnapped was exaggerated but then the Russian ministry twitter acc posts that its 190,000.

Children who will never be returned to Ukraine. Russia is pushing new legislation to fast-track adoption and nationalization of Ukrainian "orphans". It's truly monstrous, cartoonishly evil - stealing children, what's next on the list of atrocities? There doesn't seem to be a line Russia is not willing to cross.

Wouldn’t be surprised if that fucks up russia later on, taking a bunch of kids from their homes and sticking them in places where they will probably be abused rarely turns out stable individuals.

does remind me of ISIS, proper evil stuff

As a parent of two young kids, that is one of the most fucking horrific things I can think of - having your kids abducted and taken to a hostile foreign country and probably never seeing them again.

It is also defined as actual genocide in the 1948 convention on genocide.

Screw it. Russia needs to be burnt to the fucking ground.

    Stealing kids. Unexpected.
It's like raising a zombie army from the enemies you've slain to fight for you in the future.

So it looks like Ukraine set off a trap for Russia in Severodonetsk, allowing the Russians into the city. They bombarded them from the other side of the river and cut off one of the supply routes into the city also regaining some ground in the city.

The city is still likely to fall but it's going to cost Russia a hell of a lot more than what they were expecting a few days ago.

You know things must be getting desperate in Russia when you get reports of men being forced to enlistment offices to register in Moscow.

China seems intent on joining Russia in the new long cold war while India being just complete dumbfucks. India won't ever be friendly enough with China and yet they decided they can afford to play a shitty hand today against the west but still get enough support in the future when China switches the Civs scenarios.

Where there's smoke there's fire (just look at the fires in russia), there's a lot of smoke lately.

But if the rumors are true then it's a worse case scenario, if Putin has Alzeimer's and is just hanging on then his actions are because the state directs him so his death would do nothing to change the situation. It's actually better if he is a strong and healthy dictator at least there you have a slim hope that he will be replaced by someone who has different views.

I don't really see China joining in all that much.

They offer some nice words and UN umbrella, but not much more than that so far. They most certainly would love to have Russia steamroll Ukraine in a week like it hoped it will, before the whole Western "front" manifests. But with Russia being hard stuck now with no realistic exit, they become more and more toxic partner for China.

Of course China won't drop Russia, because China will also need someone to watch its back when Taiwan invasion happens (and it will). But the timing and the situation won't allow China to go out of their way to rescue Russia.

And India is more so. They will chug that oil, but they will keep their noses as clean as they reasonably can off this thing.

That said - I do think Russian economy collapse statements are a tad premature, they do have a lot $$ to burn through, before it becomes a critical issue for them. Especially given that they get record energy revenues despite sanctions and contract breaches.

That'll take a few years. For starter Europe really needs to get off that pipe for good.

its the supply chains that are facing collapse more than a full economic melt down. weird stuff that you wouldn't think about or things you take for granted when you go to the supermarket (chips, food stuffs etc)

Well, here's the thing, when they let putin front it they can turn around and say "it was all his fault", if/when he croaks of natural causes if things go pear shaped. EVEN if the state is the driving factor. The views may not change but the outcome might still be different.

In the end it's all idle speculation as we won't know for quite a few years whether or not putin is/was ill.

Permaban will lead straight to echo chamber. Thanks but no.

If people are banned for only expressing their opinion, you would be right. In this case we have a poster who keeps on getting banned for various reasons. And it's not like they haven't permabanned anyone before. So why going through the hassle of continous banning?

I do not follow Shalker and why he keeps getting banned. MMO-C moderation is pretty good but not perfect. I have seen people gettin banned for pissing moderators before, rare but it happens. The ban system is automated. Infractions are placed by the moderation, if you accumulate enough points, you get temp. banned. Simple system, works like a charm. Hardly antagonizes people. Perma ban isn't needed.

I would support such an op. just to feed on your tears. On the bright side, it would also boost our security. I am looking forward to the day our troops take first step into Syria to rid our borders from terrorists.

I would rather look forward to your inflation going below 50%, if I were you.
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.
