20 barrels of honey for 4 drones seems like a realy bad deal.

If its araund 160 liters of honey per barrel, that is 3200 liters of honey. 1 liter of honey is araund 25 euro so ... 80.000 euro.
So the guy paid 20.000 euro per drone ....
One drone to be good for military use costs 1,349.90€. He could get 59 dones for that money.

Russans are realy bad at economics..
    Don't sweat the details!!!

So, after denying they struck Odessa, Russia now says they did but it was 'military infrastructure.'

According to them though, schools, hospitals, children's playgrounds, shops and theatres are also military infrastructure.

You mean military indoctrination centers, buildings full of terrorists being patched up to return to the field, outdoor physical training facilities, black market for weapons stolen from Russia, and propaganda centers?

Joking and sarcasm aside, I did recently ran across an article claiming that the russians were using maps from the 60's. I'm not saying they should be excused but if your maps show military facilities that haven't existed for decades then maybe update first before you start shooting?

Russian incompetence would be hilarious if it didn't result in so much civilian cadalties.

Can someone translate this a bit better than Google?

    https://ria.ru/20220721/putin-1803989988.html

According to the Finnish newspaper I read it says putin has some health issues and peskov is downplaying it.

I'm just curious what's said. The Finnish news says flu-like symptoms, coughing and loss of voice.

    Sounds like covid, if true.

And Lavrov is now saying regime change is Russia's goal after all.

if true that might not end well.

Surprise Pikachu face, although Lavrov has said some things lately that were not entirely inline with the partyline.

I don't think they are capable of achieving that anymore though.

I'm sure Putin has access to enough highfalutin medicine to keep him sputtering on. If a fat orange pumpkin man like Trump can survive Covid, I'm sure Putin can slog through it as well.

While true, Orange man was "only" severely out of shape, if putin has other things going on, as is rumoured, it might be bad, add to that the rumour that he doesn't exactly trust his physicians and it has the potential of catastrophic failure.

Look I'm not pinning any hopes on it but the fact that they even acknowledge this does make me wonder.

Trump was unvaccinated as well I believe. Putin probably is, but I'd say he likely has had a western vaccine rather than the Russian made one he forced on his people.

    Trump was vaccinated.

Lavrov has a history of wanting out. Basically since the mid 2010s, yet like with the person in charge of Russia's central bank Putin has kept denying the request. It could be he's going over the top to get someone to fire him.

You think so? I kinda doubt it, I mean the guy is so paranoid I don't think he'd take anything he didn't control the whole process from a to z of. (In this case the whole process from manufacturing to administering the vaccine)

The thing with Lavrov is that, as far as I could find out, he was a fairly respected and competent diplomat previously, a bit old school soviet, but competent nevertheless. Lately he does seem to try to get out as you say, and his trustworthiness seems to have gone MIA.

If that's the case he'd best watch his behind to make sure that "fired" doesn't turn into "forced into early retirement out of a sixth story window"

Russia calls for a tribunal for captured Ukrainians for crimes against humanity.

"Basically, when we tried to murder them and their children without reason, they fought back harder than we hoped," Russia explained, "and that's a crime. We're calling for such fine, upstanding countries as Iran and Syria to stand in judgement. No really, click the link, that's who we're calling."

Yes, Putin was vaccinated but not by the Russian one. I think it was Pfizer but I could be wrong. It was definitively a western one though.
