Is this a serious discussion? Medvedev repeated Rus nuclear doctrine, which is similiar as America's. No need to get worked up just cuz media wants to sell more news, more clicks.

    Oh, good morning to ukraine!

    Infracted for trolling.

Figures you would suddenly activate after a month of silent humiliations. Also, figures that you would be happy that civilian targets got struck. Shame those hits wont help ruskies on the front. 4000+ km squared of territory retaken and Crimea bridge hit vs playgrounds and universities struck.

Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

Of course he does. Russians are well and truly the most wretched and subhuman people on this planet. A bullet through the back of the skull is all these rats deserve.

    Infracted.

Even in the context of this atrocious war, there are some red lines.

Of course he does, this is the same dude that called Ukrainian civilian corpses butchered by Russian soldiers "crisis actors" before.

Nah, this thread bores me. I said quite a while ago what the war is, nothing has changed, that it's a wekly/daily quest hub, that ru saves money, n that they held back most of their troops. Ukr just exploited ru use of donbass militia, their weakest link, forcing ru to up the war to detriment of ukr that also left fortified positions, n can't replace the huge numbers they lose in the field.

You have to look at long perspective that ukr has no way to win.

I said it in the past, ru shouldn't be called a bear, but a turtle. It fights reluctantly n slow. They have been dragging their feet since 2014.

I also said, to the resident ru poster, where is schalcker btw? N this is important. That they should have sold their gas to asia not west eur. He made excuses, short term thinking..
Ru has yet to connect their infrastructure to redirect the north streams gasses to china etc. I said ru was wasting time, lost decades of progress. This is just the kind of kick in the ass ru needs to get their things in order.

Ru will be fine, China will be the winner, western europe (germany) n ukr (whatever will be left) the looser.

Pretty fucked up thought process you got there. Hint: whoever uses the first nuclear weapon starts the nuclear war.

Its not fucked up, its quite logical. We focus a lot on who would be the first to fire the nuke, but the bigger question is this: Who will fire the second? Who will be ready to not just accept, that a nuke has been fired, but go on with the current madness, to surrender to the fact of doom and go on with it. I believe that one will not be held by a burning need to retaliate and destroy, but with an anxiety filled grasp for salvation in the final seconds before the doomsday clock strikes 12.

Its ofcourse up to chance and philosophy, but i do believe, that as much as firing a nuke is a world changing decision, the firing of the 2nd is even larger.
May the lore be great and the stories interesting. A game without a story, is a game without a soul. Value the lore and it will reward you with fun!

Don't let yourself be satisfied with what you expect and what you seem as obvious. Ask for something good, surprising and better. Your own standards ends up being other peoples standard.

Eh it's more about destroying the other side's ability to fire more nukes, not about retaliation.

But who says, that in doing so, you will not just push the opponent to fire what they have before you are successful? It also brings up the question of, do we really know all the ways the opponent can fire a nuke? Do we know the location of all nuclear sites, of all nuclear submarine and mobile launchers?

Stopping the other side from launching more missles is an immense task and the task itself might be counterproductive - seeking to disarm might be what makes the firing accelerate and be devasting in the end.

When you have made clear that if someone start firing nukes, then the only response is to remove their ability to do so again, something that has been made clear for decades now over treaties, Security Council resolution etc. then there isn't really much of a discussion to be had is there? Normalizing Russia dropping a nuke on Kyiv means they can then drop a nuke elsewhere and so on. The first bomb IS the escalation. You don't want to live in a war with a terrorist state having the option to make demands as they want. What's to stop them from bombing Chisinau or Tbilisi next? You are trying to rationalize something that already has been explored as a concept and the decisions have already been made. You are engaging with Russia's attempt to shift the global paradigm in their favor. Why? This isn't logic, it's rationalizing away your fear.

There is no protracted nuclear exchange. If the West decides to nuke russia in retaliation to russia nuking Ukraine, there won't be russia left to shoot more nukes.

It wouldn't be a tit-for-tat exchange, but full blown first strike against russia's entire nuclear arsenal.

The German consulate in Kyiv was damaged in the attacks. It hasn't been in use since the war started but still, it's a serious incident.
