Russia's suffered such astronomical casualties in terms of both equipment and manpower that it's bordering on comical, like they've had more people taken out of the fight in Ukraine in the last 8 months than the US Suffered in Vietnam over the course of two fucking decades. And what does Russia do when it sees an opening to attack? Go after critical military infrastructure and the many armored columns currently fucking their face? No, they bomb civvies because they're punk ass bitches running a second rate military running on Medieval fear tactics.

Like right now they're just using their shiny new Iranian drones to bomb Kyiv rather than, like, the soldiers attacking their front lines right now. And even then, UA's current and soon-to-be future AA stocks are rendering these terror bombing somehow more functionally useless then they've already been.

And, by all accounts, Europe's been able to stockpile enough gas to render Russia's threats of 'a cold winter' laughable. More so after the Ruskies decided that blowing up their own gas line into Europe, removing that leverage entirely, was a good idea for some nonsensical reason.

(Reuters) -Former Russian state TV journalist Marina Ovsyannikova, accused of spreading "fake news" about the war in Ukraine, has fled the country after escaping from house arrest, her lawyer said on Monday.

Ovsyannikova is currently "under the protection of a European state", lawyer Dmitry Zakhvatov said, declining to elaborate as "it may turn out to be a problem" for her.

Ovsyannikova captured world attention in March when she burst into the studio during a live TV broadcast with a placard that read "Stop the war" and "They're lying to you". The Kremlin denounced her protest as "hooliganism".

The 44-year-old was given two months' house arrest in August over a protest in July when she stood on a river embankment opposite the Kremlin and held up a poster calling President Vladimir Putin a murderer and his soldiers fascists.

Facing up to 10 years in prison on charges of spreading fake news about the Russian army, Ovsyannikova said in an online post on Oct. 5 she had fled house arrest because she had no case to answer. Her whereabouts since then have been unknown.
