archive link for anyone interested, seems to be the only outlet with the story atm.
Seriously though what the absolute fuck. That dude ain't no snitch either, I wonder how big his game will be if the FBI finds out who this kid is and hauls him in for questioning. Fuckin larpers, man.

i thought the ones like :
were pretty funny but this one is pretty serious and bad.For the third time, a War Thunder player has leaked classified military intel on the game's forums in response to, in this case, ammo for Chinese tanks not being accurate enough.
As reported by UK Defense Journal (via PC Gamer), a user uploaded an image of the DTC10-125 tungsten penetrator and a technical doc containing its specifications because they were angry about some small inaccuracies.
think bellingcat reported on it first https://www.bellingcat.com/news/2023...-defence-leak/
I assume people like this have no concept of the somewhat recent history of what happened to Manning when they leaked a whole bunch of stuff to Wikileaks.
You can't even claim they are willing to go to jail for 30-60 years to expose a great injustice because last I heard there isn't even anything of the sort in these leaks.
It ignores such insignificant forces as time, entropy, and death
Remember the incident with the RAF plane over the black Sea, where a russian plane released a weapon near it? Well, it was much more serious than that according to the leaks.
The pilot misheard what ground control was saying, locked onto the surveillance plane and fired and it was only a misfire that prevented a shoot down.

The leak says it could have amounted to "an act of war", meaning that it could have been used as a reason to wipe russia. But even if we discount that one, I deliberately said "75+" years, a lot of crap has happened which could have resulted in a TPK for Earth in the last 7 decades.
The West wouldn't have done much even if they shot down the plane. Tho it would have been interesting.
Eh, I wouldn't be too sure, I think a lot would have depended on russia's response. Like if they would have said "our bad, there was a miscommunication between our ground crew and the aircrew", then yes, not much would have happened beyond some harsh words and increased tensions. If, however, russia would have said: "well you shouldn't have been there", then I'm fairly certain at least the UK would have responded. Art. 5 would probably have been a bridge to far but perhaps the gloves would have come of in regards to what would have been given to Ukraine.
