Prig's claiming a russian MoD unit fled the battlefield in Bakhmut leaving the Wanker flank open.
https://www.anews.com.tr/world/2023/...bat-in-bakhmut
Prig's also saying he will withdraw if he doesn't get the promised ammo, according to the articles on this and I hear he was complaining yesterday that he hadn't been supplied as promised. (to which I say, are you really surprised prig? Really?)
Enfin, another article about the accusation with a bit more info, Le monde is a bit more mainstream yes?

The whole Prig-Shoigu-Gerasimov-Kadyrov-DNR-LNR infighting circle really only demonstrates that the Russian chain of command is on the verge of completely collapsing.
I seriously doubt at this point that the Russian military could at this point execute any theater wide operation, even a bad one like the 3 prong invasion last year, if they wanted or had to.
If the Ukrainian counter-offensive hits hard enough, I think it's feasible that the Russian chain of command might just collapse completely and different factions might just start ignoring orders from Moscow.
So the big military parade had a single ancient T34? Is that why Putin attended this via Zoom call?
Did they even trying to hide this level of patheticness with some doctored footage?
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.
I find it interesting no one found Putin intimidating despite his angry expressions and rhetoric. I swear I even saw some Russian spectators smirking/laughing in this parade.
Well, Putin's opposition just might die from laughter at this point.
The most humiliating military parade we saw in Moscow, ever. Seriously, it is so pathetic that I cannot stop laughing. Just one T-34-85 tank, the only tank. Like I said, Russia needs all of their functioning gear at the front. Ukraine completely brought Russia to the brink

As another point demonstrating the Russian military's inability to coordinate, look at the various missile attacks on Ukraine over the last 2-3 days. Over 160 missiles were fired on different axes... in penny-ante packets spread over the course of a day or more. If they're been able to coordinate that to within an hour or two, Ukrainian air defense (or at least C&C) could have been overwhelmed. As it was, by giving the Ukrainians the freedom to address each individual volley on its own the effectiveness of the attack was significantly degraded.
"For the present this country is headed in directions which can only carry ruin to it and will create a situation here dangerous to world peace. With few exceptions, the men who are running this Government are of a mentality that you and I cannot understand. Some of them are psychopathic cases and would ordinarily be receiving treatment somewhere. Others are exalted and in a frame of mind that knows no reason."

Actually, I've read an article on this topic. It seems to be that most "missiles" they are launching are actually those Iranian Shahed drones, complemented by higher altitude Russian military drones (tho those are in short supply, tho they are very problematic as they are in that weird range where they are too cheap to be shot down with BUKs or Patriots but fly too high to be machine gunned down, this is probably having way more of those Gepards would help) and some ballistic missiles (which the Ukrainians have gotten pretty good at shooting down).
The Ukrainians have set up mobile "anti-drone" units. Which are basically a bunch of dudes with a pick up truck, some heavy machine guns, maybe a couple of Manpads and a cellphone.
The Ukrainian government has an app people can install on their phones to report sightings of drones etc (most of them fly quite slow), which is combined with military radar data and the drone hunters can track the drone sightings via their mobile phones.
So big waves of drones would get intercepted very quickly.
So the Russian work around is sending a few drones down certain paths, with a bigger wave following them. The big wave changes course depending where the "bait" drones encounter the most resistance.
Russia just doesn't have the capacity for firing big waves of missiles like back in the winter, and the Ukrainians have adapted to the whole Iranian drone bullshit. There's also a question of just how many drones can the Iranians supply the Russians with, as the Russians are likely using them up pretty much as they are getting them.
(Seriously fuck Iran seven different ways for this bullshit.)

I'm sure the decision to use two different shots is partially intentional and all but fuckin rofl. Does Ukraine have more Russian tanks than are left in the actual country of Russia? At least operational ones?
