What's weird is Erdogan is already known as a tyrant but no one's ever stood up to him like that, so I somewhat doubt the integrity of the Turkish people in taking violent action into their hands for their liberty. Anyway, Russia with the usual lies in response, which all but confirms they are indeed sowing dissent.
The Kremlin said on Friday that allegations Russia had interfered in the upcoming Turkish presidential election were false and had been concocted by liars.
Kemal Kilicdaroglu, the main rival to Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan, issued a warning to Russia on Thursday, accusing it of responsibility for the release of fake material on social media ahead of Sunday's ballot.
Speaking to reporters, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russia valued its bilateral relations with Turkey and that Moscow "strongly rejected" the accusations.
"We officially declare that there is no question of any interference. If anyone has provided such information to Mr. Kilicdaroglu, they are liars," Peskov said.

Germany has announced a new 2.7 billion euro package - tanks, ifvs, anti air vehicles, air defence systems and more.
Meanwhile the US ambassador to south Africa has apologised over the claims it send weapons to russia. It seems it may not have happened after all.
And the Turkish opposition leader have promises to pivot back towards the west, and there is a good chance they might actually win.

russia appears to have lost 1, possibly 2, helicopters and an su34, all to friendly fire in russia itself. Air defence is getting twitchy it seems.
And not only does it seems that the UK has provided the Storm Shadow cruise missile to Ukraine, but that it has been put into use as well. A target 100km behind the lines in Luhansk has been struck, with russia saying it was the Storm Shadow. A decoy missile was also used, allowing the cruise missiles to hit their intended target.
russia is of course trying about it, but Sunak had told them back in December apparently that if they continued targeting civilian infrastructure then the UK would provide long range missiles. Once again russia fafo'd.
how does Russia have the ability to still hold out like this, and for a few more years estimate, when we allege they've lost 200k+ people and infrastructure on the same scale, and Ukraine always gets fresh tech every other week now
Because real life is not call of duty or battlefield.
It ignores such insignificant forces as time, entropy, and death

It now seems russia shot 2 of its own planes and helicopters in a day.

So, the alleged timeline of events resulting in the loss of 2 jets and 2 helicopters in russia today:
1 Sukhoi Su-34 gets shot down by friendly fire
2 Helicopter goes to look for the crew, gets shot down by friendly fire
3 crew dead.
Rinse and repeat with a Su-35 substituting for the Su-34 in the lead role?

Is this correct?

It's hard to know exactly what happened. The russians, bizarrely, are saying all 4 aircraft were 'ambushed' by the Ukrainians. Makes no sense, but I suppose they think it sounds better than shooting down 4 of their own aircraft and killing irreplaceable aircrew.
Rumor has it that the Russians are so scared of the new missiles UK provided to Ukraine hitting the Kerch bridge, that they are shooting AA at anything that moves on their radar screen.
I'm more surprised 1.5 year in, they (Russians) just fucking take this reality now. eat it, even.
At the start, it was vaguely like "Don't help Ukraine or else" and the world kind of cowed to that.
Now in 2023 it's just like, we send Ukraine all this weaponry, and Russia can't do or say anything to deter anyone. Makes them seem like pussies, all bark little bite.
Russia is currently going crazy over the Storm Shadow missiles, describing it as crossing a red line and vowing retaliation against Britain for their alleged use against "Russian infastructure" by the Ukrainians.

All is well clearly in the Nazi Russia/Belarussia.
Lukashenko seems to be in a hospital, and Nazi Russia, for all their military might, decided to shower Ternopil with missiles, the home city of the ukrainian Eurovision contestant this year during their performance just a tiny while ago.
I agree almost, Eurovision Song Contest can be considered a weaponized cringe...
...I'm sure that middle of nowhere city no one has heard of, is surely a military target, not civilian one?
Or is someone gonna post a picture of Sims 3 + Nazi flag and photoshopping the Eurovision contestant in same picture?

The home city of Ukraine's Eurovision act was hit by Russian missiles moments before the band took to the stage in Liverpool, reports say.
The chief of the regional state administration, Volodymyr Trush, confirmed two people had been injured.
Ternopil mayor Serhiy Nadal confirmed warehouses were damaged.
Ten minutes before taking to the stage at the Liverpool Arena, Tvorchi posted on Instagram citing reports of Ternopil in western Ukraine being attacked.
After performing, Tvorchi wrote again on Instagram saying: "Ternopil is the name of our hometown, which was bombed by Russia while we sang on the Eurovision stage about our steel hearts, indomitability and will.
"This is a message for all cities of Ukraine that are shelled every day. Kharkiv, Dnipro, Khmelnytskyi, Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Uman, Sumy, Poltava, Vinnytsia, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Chernihiv, Kherson and all others.
"Europe, unite against evil for the sake of peace!"
The UK's ambassador to Ukraine Dame Melinda Simmons described Tvorchi's Eurovision performance as "poignant".
Writing on Twitter, she added: "Reminder that the reason why Ukraine could not host this event is because Russia continues to invade and the people of Ukraine live in continuing danger."

Military recruiters visited a russian school and urged 15 year olds to sign contracts.

We really are talking putlerjugend here. The recruiters specifically talked about Ukraine so they aren't talking about future recruitment.
