Ukraine has been encouraging russians to surrender, with the I want to live hotline running since the start of the war.
The problem is most russians seem to prefer to die than surrender.

I told you people with an article a few pages ago: Russians prefer death than to surrender.
Same energy:
Except you aren't telling us shit all that's new, informative or interesting.
So on topic of Ukraine. The last guy shot in that insane trench warfare video a couple days ago might actually be one of the biggest Russian War telegram posters.

Good news!

The House Foreign Affairs Committee passed a resolution Wednesday calling for the Biden administration to supply Ukraine with long-range missiles, upping the pressure on the White House and Pentagon to provide a key piece of advanced weaponry U.S. officials have long resisted sending.
The resolution calls for the U.S. to immediately provide the Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS) to Ukraine, which would allow Ukrainian forces to strike at targets up to 200 miles away.
It also calls for the transfer of similar weapons systems from the U.S. and its allies to Ukraine, saying the failure to provide long-range missiles will prolong the war against Russia.
Rep. Michael McCaul (R-Texas), the chairman of the committee, said, “ATACMS are critical to Ukraine’s success in the counteroffensive.”
“There’s no reason to give Ukraine just enough to bleed but not enough to win,” he said. “It’s been my criticism all along — if we’re going to be helping them, either go all in or get out.”
The ranking member on the committee, Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-N.Y.), also backed the resolution, saying he supported an effort to “prudently send long-range missile capabilities to Ukraine’s capable warfighters.”
Well, nobody can claim he was a "journalist"...the guy is clearly and visibly armed, makes no attempt to surrender, is acting as a combatant and has no visible "Press" identification of any kind.
That video was a textbook case of amateurs running into professionals and getting their asses handed to them.

Wargonzo taking a dirt nap were long overdue if it turns out to really be him.
Wasn't he the one that already lost his toes to a russian butterfly mine? You'd think he would have learned from that, but russians got to russian.
Probably thought he was safe but Ukraine snuck in behind enemy lines and that is why I think everyone in that video looked so unprepared(several of the dudes didn't even have weapons on them). Probably thought it was their own guys firing out of the trench but in actuality it was Rambo fucking everyone up in their own trench.
Rude? Zelenksy irritatedly today said progress is indeed slow, but to (again) stop treating this "like a movie", wholly admitting he knew spectators assumed it would be some grand all-out bloodbath. He finished his speech saying that's apparently not how a real life war works.
President Volodymyr Zelensky has acknowledged battlefield progress has been "slower than desired", weeks into Ukraine's military offensive to recapture areas occupied by Russia.
"Some people believe this is a Hollywood movie and expect results now. It's not," he told the BBC.
"What's at stake is people's lives."
Ukraine says its counter-offensive has reclaimed eight villages so far in the southern region of Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk to the east.
Mr Zelensky said the military push was not going easily because 200,000 sq km (77,220 sq miles) of Ukrainian territory had been mined by Russian forces.
"Whatever some might want, including attempts to pressure us, with all due respect, we will advance on the battlefield the way we deem best," Mr Zelensky added.
"Babe, wake up, bridges in Krimea are getting blown up by Storm Shadows."

Was just going to mention it. Bridges are tough, as has been seen, but those are some big holes.
