Imagine that Space Ice YouTube vid.
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

If we were at war sure, but I don't think we would technically call it an enemy state right now.

Wouldn't it require them to be an open, fully declared enemies and at war with each other?

Unless the oligarchs decide to seize power by installing one of their own as president I guess.

I'd love to be wrong but I think Putin would likely be replaced with someone worse. He's the devil we know.
I've listened to a few opinions on this and I think the most salient is that it's hard to get someone who is worse than Putin.

Before this last spate of Russian adventurism Putin had out manuevered the West in every relevant bit of Geopolitics he wanted to stick his dick in. He walked over Obama's red lines in Syria without incident, he annexed Crimea in 2014, openly poisoned defectors on foreign soil and was working fairly effectively with the Chinese to push Western influence out of Africa. Putin was an effective villain, a worst case scenario for every country in the West.

Now who would replace him? Well looking round the answer is no one. Even the guy who marched his army over the Rubicon couldn't imagine a Russia without Putin. I can't imagine a bigger indicator of just how absent any successor to Putin is. If Putin goes I really wouldn't be worried by his replacement being worse. A much more real danger would be the dispersal of nuclear assets in the balkanisation of what was once Russia.

Even the most retarded moron wouldn't dare do this.

Not to mention the professional bureaucracy, or the average Russian nationalist who would ask -Who the fuck is this fat Italian American Japanese wannabe?

I mean, I doubt Seagal even speaks Russian, he might know some, but sure as shit not enough to run a ministry. What, are they going to translate everything for his fat ass?

But deep down...I really wish it would be true. It would be one of the funniest things to happen since Australia losing the Emu war.

I mean, Wagner were able to just waltz on in, take over Russia's command hub for the Ukraine War, then back out without reprocessons beyond getting put in a time out corner and that makes Putin look like a pushover.

Do you know what the joke going around russia is at the moment? If NATO invades us, we'd have to hope Lukashenko could make a deal to save us.

Pootie is a joke even in russia. That's how weakened he is by this.

Keep in mind one of the assurances Lukashenko made to Prigozhin for backing down, at least what we know, was his safety

That means had Prig kept going, he would not have survived Putin's retaliation.

Did you miss the part where pootie ran away and hid in a bunker because noone was prepared to defend him? Prig could easily have pushed on into Moscow but he wasn't getting the support he needed either to do anything meaningful.

That is why a deal was made.
