russians don't give a shit about self-preservation, and russia has crossed so many lines that whatever entails from this, NATO won't inch.

i mean, putin's rapsheet in this war alone has encompassed every war crime known to history, and the only person that's ever allegedly come for his life so far is just a disgruntled subordinate and his private army

    Can you fucking stop?

Russia hasn't crossed any of NATO's lines. Reminder, NATO is a defensive alliance that protects its MEMBERS.

I double triple fucking dare you to name of single fucking line set by NATO that Russia would have crossed.

It's quite the opposite, the Russians keep coming up with bullshit "red lines" about what equipment NATO can or can't supply Ukraine with and which countries can or can't join NATO, and it's NATO that keeps crossing those lines and the Russians do....or can do, absolutely fuck all about it.

Missiles, armor, tanks, more missiles, jets, anti air weapons, NATO expansion etc. All red lines Russia threatened nuclear Armageddon with if crossed, doing NOTHING when crossed.

Why do you think so? Why do you think the Russians are so impotent? Because they can't do anything about it, and because the only weapon they could use, as in nuclear weapons, would mean the total annihilation of Russia. So they do fucking care about self preservation. @Flarelaine @Rozz please for the love of god, give us a solution to the problem of not being able to ignore Yuppie without making this entire thread disappear.

    Seriously. Please.

This is an important topic a whole lot of us care a whole lot about, but everytime we click on it we get some insane Yuppie drivel.

There has to be a workaround for this.

Yeah, maybe can we make a new thread that merges with this one with another OP, so we can all put YUPPIE on ignore. While he is not banned he only adds useless drivel to this thread.

That was not a sensationalist headline because the destruction of the Kakhova Dam was both abhorrent and ongoingly catastrophic in damage

Russia is currently going through a systematic purge of its military personnel following Prigozhin's assault.

Numerous generals and key figures have been reported to be detained or "missing." Terrifying stuff.

Right! It shocks me when people are surprised when Russia does things that Russia always does, and will most likely continue to do long into the distant future.

It's shocking because it's understandably difficult to believe a country has murder so normalized

But for context on the purge

You've obviously not paid attention to history outside of the Western world and even then you've also willfully ignored a large part of Western history.

This is what regularly happens when your chief insurrectionist chickens out 200 km away from the main objective.

a person whose name or existence is denied or ignored, especially because of a political misdemeanor.

Traitors and other such undesirables in the Roman Empire were known to be given this treatment. The Other Wiki's article on it shows Roman murals that have had unwanted people's faces chiseled out of them.
