Even after the 500,000 they mobilized a few months ago?

there is a difference between bodies and "willing to fight"
"Law and Order", lots of places have had that, Russia, North Korea, Saddam's Iraq.
Laws can be made to enforce order of cruelty and brutality.

I mean, continually throwing bodies at a problem has always been a big part of Russian Military Strategy.

They will, if for no other reason than that the population of Russia is finite.

They never stopped mobilising in the first place. It was just done continuously, on the quiet, in the rural regions out of sight. Never in big numbers all at once to try and hide it was going on.

A Yuppie post does usually end with a "why?"

It's highly doubtful Russia can mobilize 450k people at the same time again.

Not because they couldn't find the people. I'm sure they still haven't completely depleted their ethnic minorities are poor rural Russians.

They might even be more capable of training them up than they were a year ago, and by training I mean basic infantry training, nothing fancy.

What I doubt they can do is equip and supply them. The current rate of piecemeal 20 to 25k a month is a more realistic number.

Tho I do think we might see a sort of "internal" mobilization. The truth is that Russian units across the rest of the country have been hallowed out, as highlighted by Wagner's little day trip. The Kremlin might want to get some troops spread across the country. That's also something more feasible, logistically speaking. It's easier to keep some mobiks fed on the outskirts of Moscow than on the front line. So we might see a larger mobilization wave, but I doubt it will 450k and I doubt they'll be used for the war.

Honestly, what was he thinking sticking around? The guy knew Pootie for decades since their St. Petersburg days, they both did full gangsta shit together. Absolutely baffling.

Maybe he foolishly believed in honor among thieves.

Also weird, considering he caused the biggest challenge and danger to his 20y of ruling, and considering how Pootie used to deal with his ex-buddies that wronged him.

One big cautionary tale Prigs last few months were.

What I have gathered from various articles I read, Prig considered/thought himself invincible after Putin didn't get him killed right away. False sense of security combined with vatnik stupidity. Man's ego won over logic and reason, and ding-dong down he goes.

It is said the status of a russian man is measured in how high he falls down from. And Prig probably made the record.

They no longer have the infrastructure to mobilize big numbers all at once. It went with the Soviet Union back in the 90s. And personnel-wise, the people who could have served as cadre for a true mass mobilization were sent to Ukraine on a three-day special military operation about 18 months ago.

Ukraine claims their intelligence service launched a drone attack on the Kursk airfield in russia with 16 drones. 13 reached the target, damaging 5 planes and 3 air defence systems.

The drones used were reportedly Australian cardboard drones, which are supplied as a flatpack and assembled with rubber bands. They are also powered by electirc motors, with a 5kg payload. It kind of makes them very hard to pick up by radar and also very quiet.

Looks like the embassy of Russia in South Africa has posted a map.

    https://twitter.com/EmbassyofRussia/...80506591269130

A map of BRICS in a multipolar world...Where Crimea and all the rest of Ukraine proper Russia tries to claim for itself...belong to Ukraine.

    Oops.

I swear to God, BRICS is the new NFT of our time.

An "organization" that has no organization, no treaties, no alignment, no internal standards, no free trade, no shared culture, values or political systems, and was literally invented by some stock brokers looking for a high risk/high yield investment markets, and where half the "biggest" members are literally one errant line on a map away from nuclear war.

    People will buy into anything.

I was reading some retarded crypto bro article in the Financial Times where the guy was predicting the end of the dollar and Euro because now America and Europe will have to buy oil/raw materials in local currencies.

The whole article I felt like screaming -And what, will they convert everything back into dollars, pounds, euros and what else to buy finished products?

    Just absolute drivel.
