Not going to go into detail about it in case some people use it as an excuse to wave some russian victory flags but it does show something it not working with the sanctions, or they are putting on quite a show ala North Korea in the Interview.

Anyway: a choice made under the threat of violence is no valid choice so no, the crimeans have not had a valid choice about being part of russia or Ukraine.
