My opinion is clear on this I think. It was crystal clear to us that Russia would react if Ukraine lost its neutrality. In an ideal world every country would be free to decide its fate. But we don't leave in an utopia. See how US reacted in Cuba for example. It is what it is. Knowing that, why would we try to expand knowing that 100's of thousands would die? Don't get me wrong, I am not with Russia. As a Greek we have in our hearts both Ukraine and Russia. We have large population living in each of the two countries and this war is painful to see. At the end of the day Russia shouldn't had invaded and should just f%ck off Ukraine already. I feel that we, as NATO, could have avoided this war and that's why iam blaming us, the "adults" in the room.

As for the mass extinction I believe 100% that Putin will force EU and US to chose if they want to trade Paris - Washington- London etc for Moscow. I mean he has told it clear as day that Russia can't win a conventional war against an alliance. His track record shows that he doesn't bluff. World leaders seem to understand this and thats why they don't declare war to Russia.

Eh, that was like 150 meters away.

An explosion took place near a motorcade carrying Ukrainian President Volodymir Zelensky in the Black Sea port city of Odessa on Wednesday, according to reports. Sources added that members of Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos’ official entourage, who were in Odessa at the time, were unaffected by the incident.

Mitsotakis made a previously unannounced visit to Odessa on Wednesday and met with the Ukrainian President en route to Bucharest, Romania, for the meeting of the conservative EPP political grouping.

Accompanying Mitsotakis are minister of state Stavros Papastavrou, the head of his diplomatic office, Anna Maria Boura, and communications director Kyra Kapi.

Reports said the motorcade of the Ukrainian president came under drone attack in the early afternoon as it was located some 150 meters away from the visiting Greek mission, which is led by Mitsotakis.
Killing Zelensky the russians might get away with (without being counted as a declaration of war against something else than just Ukraine), but trying to off the greek PM...They don't have the balls. I'd guess it's just an intimidation attempt.

You imagining we don't live in a nice world doesn't erase Ukraine's right to sovereignty. And whataboutism makes you even less credible, if you had any left after the last trolling you did (and got infracted for it, for trolling). But hey, your PM was just involved with russian targeting.

The war ends when Russia withdraws its presence from ALL Ukrainian territory, Crimea, Donbass, everywhere. Russia can make that choice any day. But Russia ain't going to return to the adult's table before reparations are paid in a form or another.

Perhaps Russia should cede its own territory so they are not expanding too close to NATO "borders"? After all, Russia invaded Ukraine and claimed parts of it as its own, coming closer to NATO...And only after that, Finland and Sweden joined.

It matters not if Russia cries about nations wanting to ally with others, it is their choice. The end.

I don't like right wing so I wouldn't be too sorry if he got hurt tbh

As for the right to choose, I agree but unfortunately doesn't work like that in the world that we live in.

It works when you make it work. As the west is at very least aiming to do. Saying it doesn't work doesn't mean shit. Russia is going to learn the true meaning of "might makes right".

You are free to put your head into the sand and pretend the free world has lost. Don't come here like that one russian dude long while ago to this thread when the war comes to you and then whine about not getting a refugee status...After knowingly tried to shill for Russia and shifting blame on NATO (which has not even entered the war...yet).

Please. The Ruskis don't have the capability to intentionally miss anything.

They tried to off Zelensky and didn't give a shit about collateral.

Sadly, no drone penetrates a mountain bunker. And trying a drone in a country that is not Russia (maybe Belarus is fine given the orcs invaded Ukraine from belarussian soil) is pretty much a no-no.

    No, it doesn't.
Yesterday, ukrainians blew up a bus full of civillians in Kirovsk, Luhansk oblast.
And it's just one most recent example.
Ukrainans are killing and terrorizing the supposdely their own compatriots on almost daily basis.
Or they are killing and terrorizing Russian people in Donetsk and Luhansk.
Either way, they are killing civillians.
Because if there's one thing Ukrainians are good at, it is fighting civillians. Wolyn poles would attest.

Ah yes comrade, Bucha didn't happen etc etc etc, those evil West HQ in random civilian buildings everywhere in Ukraine, NATO troops hiding in grocery stores, maternity hospitals...

You russians are good when it comes to 6 year olds arguing in a sandbox environment: "nuh uh Russia does no evil, all lies".

You're free to source your claims btw, but that is where you can't win because truth doesn't exist in Russia.

Ah leave him, there's a tanker school on fire, so not only do they have to worry about involuntary induction in the russian airforce, they'll also need to worry about becoming crispy from other sourcees.
