I don't want to be alarmist, but frontlines are being pressed hard, questionable situation in the east. Plus Kiev is eating itself a bit, due to weapons distribution and growing panic. Fears have big eyes and guns in hands of untrained people... have questionable benefit.

I also want to know what West promised China for them to abstain from the UNSEC vote which, of course, was vetoed by Russia.

But the process is there, and Russians engage with it, and enough pressure that pisses off enough people could get them to vote for "anyone but Putin or his cronies".

Until that happens, most Russians support Putin, and pressure applied to change that is pretty standard practice.

I'd think that's a minor inconvenience at worst - Russian porn stars don't rely exclusively on that website for example - compared to say, needing to be evacuated because there are missiles dropping around you and paratroopers/tanks rolling down your street.
