During the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, he advocated attacking power plants and other civilian infrastructure in Ukraine in order to bomb Ukraine back to the 18th century.

If there were even a tenth that many French dead we would have heard about it. Something those coming from authoritarian states where all media is controlled by the state fail to understand is the nature of the free press. It would be in the news because there is one thing the free press loves to do is annoy the government.

Every time a single soldier died in Afghanistan or Iraq, it made the news. Soldiers dying in Ukraine would be massive news and the free press would be all over it.

Russia needs a new...population. They seem to have lost an army and navy and almost all related vehicles.

Given how many they have fed to the meat grinder, evidence here shows they are scraping the bottom of the barrel for their troll farms too.

There seems to be some pretty severe flooding going on in Russia in places at the moment that they’re probably seeking to distract attention from.

Quite an interesting video I had just recalled.
Let's see if local residents can dismiss it as cheap propaganda by noname nobody.
Said noname nobody is Diana Panchenko, an Ukrainian journo.

me personally, I very much liked the moment at 28:15 mark when the woman is pleading to, and I quote: "protect us, don't return us to Ukraine".

    Hi. Swede here.

Without Russia invading first Crimea and then Ukraine no way in hell Sweden would have joined NATO.

    An EU army? Potentially
    NATO never.

NATO was as popular as it ever had been post 9/11 2001 before the Iraq invasion of 2003.
Since then people who wanted Sweden to join had shrunk and been trending down. There was a small uptick whenever Putin was an idiot and flew fighter jets into Swedish Airspace.

2014 made it trend upwards again. But it stopped and kinda flat lined. Up whenever Putin was aggressive. Down whenever Russia was quiet.

Then this invasion happened and people wanting to join NATO jumped by 20-30%.

The people who dislike NATO? That never changed ever through this 30 year period.

Read about that earlier. Almost a million people affected. Mass evacuations as floods in Russia’s Kurgan region set to peak

You mean to say, Sweden was not already a part of nato all this time?
Joining "partnership for peace" nato program among first
Sending military specialists to act in un operations in kosovo(je Srbja), Bosnia, Afghanistan, Mali.
I mean, you literally intervened in Libya in 2011 along with nato.
You *were* nato in all but name.

Georgia is reminding Russia it's still an uppity country that really hates them; Protesters demand Georgia government withdraw proposed 'Russian law'

Thousands of people demonstrated in the Georgian capital Tbilisi on Monday demanding the withdrawal of a controversial "foreign influence" bill they say is inspired by authoritarian laws neighbouring Russia uses to crush dissent.

Outside parliament, 23-year old Marisha said: "We are fighting for our freedom," as she held a long stick with the Georgian flag hoisted on top.

"We want to have a bright future, and I think it's the responsibility of every person who lives in this county to come out."

The bill would require non-governmental organisations and media outlets that receive more than 20% of their funding from abroad to register as an "organisation serving the interests of a foreign power".

Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said the proposed law was needed to ensure the financial transparency of grant recipients.

But opposition parties and independent journalists have said the bill is an attempt to crush critical voices in Georgia and sabotage the country's chances of joining the EU. They have said it mirrors similar legislation introduced by Russian President Vladimir Putin in his country.

"Georgia will not surrender to re-Sovietisation!" pro-Western President Salome Zurabishvili wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

The Georgian government has rejected any comparison to the Russian legislation.

"I agree that no Russian laws should be adopted in Georgia," Georgian Dream's parliamentary leader Mamuka Mdinaradze said during a parliamentary debate on Monday. Shortly after he was punched in the face by opposition MP Aleko Elisashvili while speaking at the despatch box, triggering a brawl in parliament.

The proposed "foreign influence" bill has been strongly condemned by both the EU and the US. Both have said it is incompatible with the country's stated aim of EU integration.

A 2023 poll found that more than 80% of Georgia's 3.7 million population supported joining the EU.

Last December, the EU granted Georgia candidate status, subject to extensive negotiations on topics including democratic norms.

Putin is losing on multiple fronts.

Oh... does that mean Russia is part of NATO and is scared of NATO at the same time? Weird.

Sure would be nice if obvious sockpuppet accounts that post nothing but pure propaganda and conspiracy theories actually got permabanned instead of this ridiculously stupid "see you in a week" bullshit.

There is absolutely no fucking reason to be lenient on them when it's obvious that they're here purely to stir shit up, not to have an actual discussion.

with such sockpuppets MMO-C would probably no longer exist. They are probably the majority of traffic at this point.

Imagine being Russia, invading your tiny neighbor for a 3-day "special operation", and being in the third year of the war having lost an immense amount of armor (and aircraft, and boats), soldiers, been sanctioned to high hell, and senior officials and higher ups at government-connected corporations are still mysteriously falling out of windows and onto polonium laced bullets. It could happen to anyone!

    How curious.

The propaganda spamming Vatnik gets banned and the "enlightened centrist" Vatnik shows up with more propaganda.

    Interesting.
