If you were born in 1988, you'd be in your mid-30s, and I find it hard to believe you'd still be so clueless as to not know "88" is a Neo-Nazi symbol/dogwhistle. Like, I could understand if it was like 2004 and we're talking about a 16-year-old dumbass, but 35/36? Nah, you know what you're doing. That excuse is dead.

You'd be surprised how often that excuse is still used. Hence my response.

Hugo Boss was also an active member of the Nazi party. The whole handle is neck-deep in Nazi. It's not a coincidence.

It's a bit more nuanced, but yes, he was an active Nazi and legend has it he designed the SS uniforms. (Don't ask Adidas, Fanta and Porsche either about their activities during the war.)

Wow. I sure don't remember that from my history classes when I was a lad.
Off topic, but did anyone see that new netflix doc on the rise and fall of Hitler? I'm meaning too but it's like 6 hours.

I’m told by a certain group of people that it’s a hatchet job against Trump.

As a member of the born in 1988 party; I'll use 88 on some tags if need be; but it'll only be my name or my online handle. My friends who are all born in the same year have nothing that uses 18 or nazi-known names before the number either. It's not hard to keep 88 in your tag and avoid nazi dogwhistling, at least honestly.

Also born '88. I remember learning when I was about 7-8 years old what 88 could be a symbol of.

Looking for confirmation but rumour has it that Ukraine damaged a Su-57 Felon.

Russian channels seem to confirm it was hit by shrapnel from a drone strike.

Glorious Russian plane intercepted a drone and prevented damage to the landing strip.

Hope everyone gets out to vote today.
Euro aid to Ukraine is big on the ballot, and a growing number of old white dudes are trying hard to push the continent right, and into Putin's hands among other things.
    Its a big day here.

Hey now, I'm coming up on 32 and haven't got a clue as to what 88 or 14, 18 etc are referring to specifically

But then again I don't encounter Nazi sympathisers... Well never here so forgive my sheltered mind. What do they stand for?

14 stands for the 14 words of the Nazi slogan.

88 and 18 are references to the alphabet, H being the 8th letter. I can you can put 2 and 2 together with that.
It ignores such insignificant forces as time, entropy, and death

Holy, I know Nazi sympathisers are pathetic but I honestly thought they were beyond pre-teen levels of "secret messages" like that. Me and my cousin would come up with shit like that to be 'secret' spies. Because we were children.
