    I know, right?

I mean, there are 5 NATO countries that actual share a border with Russia. Another 3 that border Ukraine, where the war is taking place. And another 2 that border the Black Sea.

So maybe after all 10 of those countries, Greece might be considered the next closest?

Like the rocket that fell in Poland and killed people and then they made up a story that it is an Ukrainian one to avoid escalation or like the drones that fall in Romania?

NATO will never go to a war for some small insignificant members unless perhaps they face an all out war. We are talking about sabotage here, Russia is conducting sabotage operation all over Europe.

Also never say never, just because you think a NATO vs Russia is not possible, it doesn't mean that it's the way you think. we never thought that Putin will invade Ukraine either.

Honestly if I were Greek I'd be more worried about the middle east about to explode than putin.
    Where are you from?

We are obviously worried about the middle east since this is also very close to us, although we are more worried about Cypriots regarding this.

Russia is very close to Greece, Crimea, South Russia and Greece are almost connected through the black sea, there are no NATO countries in-between except Turkey and Eastern Thrace specifically.

Crimea was colonized in ancient times by ancient greeks. They called it "Tauriki"

Russia is closer to Greece than Israel.

That's just not how NATO works. NATO is a mutual defense pact; if anyone attacks a NATO member, all of NATO steps in on their behalf. There's no such thing as an "insignificant member" in this.

Also never say never, just because you think a NATO vs Russia is not possible, it doesn't mean that it's the way you think. we never thought that Putin will invade Ukraine either.
Since 2014? Because we've known he was willing to do so since 2014. And he was belligerent well before that, despite the treaty signed with Ukraine.

And lest anyone say I'm being condescending to someone much closer to Russia than I am, my country borders Russia.

    Dude.

If you want to get melodramatic about it, Russia and USA are closer than Russia and Greece.

    Get over it already.

Fantastic. Alexander the Great's empire spread out to India. Doesn't make India close to Greece, either.

As equally important as Crimea, which is occupied territory that belongs to Ukraine, and a small airport in Greece, separated by the Black Sea and Turkey.

Well, as you can see Russia is overreacting at you trying to place Rockets with nuclear capabilities in Germany. What do you think would happen if you tried to place these rockets on northeast Greece? We will never be allowed to have nukes because of this. Since the USA is so close to Russia, why do you need to place the rockets there?

In the past Russia reacted to the NATO base that we try to build in Alexandroupoli city. (northeast Greece).

Do you not realize that there are US nukes in Turkey already?

Reacted... by dropping bombs? Or complaining?

Heck, the US had nukes stationed in Greece from 1963 to 2001. They've been in Germany since the '50s.

The Greece propaganda station apparently is very low budget.

There are US nukes everywhere but I don't know the specifics of them, of course they can't be used by the countries that have them and the countries lack the capabilities to cause harm to Russia with them. Russia will never allow a neighbor to have such capabilities. They complained about the base and it is seen by them as an attempt to hurt them,
why? because it's close to them....

It's hilarious to say that you are closer to Russia because of Alaska, you will have to cross the entire planet until you reach the important part of Russia which all is on Europe. Thats why you are placing your rocket in Europe. It's also the reason you create such situations in Europe, because you are far away from trouble.

Russia is gigantic but the south part is very close to our country, not that far away from Turkey, if Russia is next to Turkey then I guess it makes sense that it's very close to us as well correct?

Google maps is there, you can check it.

Middle east is further away than Russia by sea.

I don't care anyway what you think, I only hope this doesn't escalate into something worse.

Greece is a NATO member. A strike on Greece is a strike on NATO, triggering Article 5.

Do you really think Russia, still bogged down in Ukraine two and a half years later, can also fight against NATO forces simultaneously?

Sounds like you should just move to Russia if you're so scared of Russia. Though I must warn you, living in Russia is very much no protection against Russia, either.

Depends on whether you live close by to any children's hospitals or daycare centers.
