When some Russian asset blows up and is set on fire, you ideally want that damage to spread as much as possible to slow the Russians down or sow chaos. When a firefighter shows up and nullifies the damage, that is literally supporting Putin's war because it's giving the Russian troops a faster chance to reorganize.

If these were firefighters in Moscow and just taking out an average housefire there, it'd be "fine" because that's for civilians. But actively repairing the damages Ukraine is strategically causing to the bridges they're trying to continuously blow up to advance the end of the war? Those people should not be given more sympathy than the Russian soldiers that rape and pillage.
