By the way, not entirely unrelated to Ukraine, especially since the Green Party in Germany is very, VERY, "pro military aid"

    https://www.euronews.com/my-europe/2...ection-attacks

Around 300 cars were rendered unsuable in recent weeks and months, because some "agents" sprayed construction foam into the exhaust.
On top of that, they put stickers on those cars with Robert Habeck (the chancellor candidate for the Green party) saying "be greener!" suggested that the greens and their activists ruin your cars, because they don't want you to pollute the environment.
And obviously the police thought, at first, some extremist activits are at fault.

As three idiots from southern Germany came under scrutiny after getting caught close to a crime scene, it has become clear that it is likely Kremlin related sabotage, who paid willing actors to cause turmoil right before the next election, so their mongrel-minions, the AFD (for example), can gain more support.
As the AFD wants to stop the support for Ukraine, and are aggressively pushing for a anti-Green-Party sentiment by spreading misinformation and lies on social media and... basically whenever they open their mouth in parliament, it's the perfect "ally" (if they aren't directly on Putins payroll already) for him and his plans.
And while most people obviously already know this, the AFD is also getting support from the likes of Elon-Musk, who is also trying to influence the election by doing so.
He of course, is a Nazi, just like the AFD party is too... and so is Russia.

A few months ago, Germany was warned about interference in the election - and this is most likely part of that.
So again, for everyone still not realising it (if there is anyone left), the war isn't just happening in Ukraine. That's "just" where the people die because we don't do enough to help them.

Ukraine has received its first Mirages from France.

Also, the Astrakhan refinery hit the other day will be down for at least 3 months for repairs according to russian sources. It isn't just a refinery - it also is the largest producers of sulphur for explosives in russia.

And numerous videos have started emerging of late, of russian forces being issued with horses and donkeys in the place of trucks for logistics support. Got to feel bad for those animals given the way russia treats anything living, but it is a sign that the russian army is being de-mechanised and just cant replace as fast as is getting destroyed.

Give it a week or two, they first need to be pulled out of storage.

Captured in the first Crimean War and melted down to make Victoria Crosses.

Russian state media has been forced to address the horse and donkey issue after it became talked about in russia. Turns out they were officially supplied and not just donated. Sort of contradicts the official narrative of military strength and all going well.

The official line is they are being used because it is very difficult supplying front line troops - though how they work better than vehicles is anyone's guess. They didn't even try to say it was due to terrain issues.

Plus if it was good enough for the great patriotic war, it's good enough now.

Hopefully the Ukrainian army will capture and send the animals off to a place where they will be safe from abuse.

Russia economy could 'collapse completely' in 2025 as vital oil exports hammered
Russia's economy could spiral as vital oil exports are sanctioned and refineries hit by Ukraine in drone strikes.
I think I will start taking wagers. Which extremist will destroy their country's economy first, putin or trump? And will it be purely for greed or vanity.

Money still on Putin - even with as much damage as trump is going to do, each individual state has some autonomy to at least mitigate a lot of that damage. Putin controls everything and makes sure to try to keep yes men in charge of sections to keep it that way.

This isn't what MAD was about back when I was in Highschool.

Won't Russia run out of money for the war sometimes this November? Could have sworn I remember reading that.

If I recall correctly, that estimate was before Ukraine started hitting Russia's oil production, and definitely long before Russia started having to deploy people on horses and donkeys. It may well be sooner than that now.
confirmed by my uncle nitnendo and masahiro samurai

What do you say the odds of Trump and Musk directing funds to Russia to keep them going, potentially from the US Treasury though the back doors Musk was attempting to install?

I don't know if they could get enough meaningful money through to help Russia in the short term.

Russia's problem isn't just lack of money, it's lack of manpower and equipment, the ability to maintain it, the ability to deploy it, and the ability to defend it. Money helps with all of those things... eventually... but definitely not immediately. Their money-generating infrastructure (oil and gas) is under constant attack from Ukraine and sanctioning from countries that matter for its sale (In Europe, Musk and Trump can't do shit about that) and shadow money wont fix up that situation either.

Doesn't mean Trump and co. wont try helping Russia, of course, but as of lately they seem to be pretty hands-off on the Russia/Ukraine thing. Which knowing them is probably the best outcome we could hope for.

Well, Trump and Musk could realistically siphon off 3 billion per day from the treasury and generate an extra trillion dollars in a year which he could believably pass off as a normal Trump deficit increase.

If even a third of that per day made it to Russia, that would help a ton I would think in helping hire men and secure supplies, especially if he works to pull US aid publicly or try and help them directly afterwards.

Hoping that doesn’t happen but would be a decent consolation prize to watch the guy who helped Trump fall before Trump did. Doubly so if he gets pissed and exposes the whole thing in their collapse.

Honestly, I'm not 100% sure how aligned Trump an Putin are at the moment. Putin is a "loser". He can't even take over a neighbouring country. Zelensky is a "winner" with resources.

And replacing all of that donated equipment is a solid amount of domestic manufacturing.
