So this is how liberty dies, with thunderous applause.
fucking awful. kudos for Zelensky keeping his cool.

Already considered it but I was scared of the AfD here in Germany and decided to vote a power that could realistically stand against it.
Not much I can do, other than convincing my friend cycle to do the same and vehemently stand against bullshit takes. Push people too hard however, and they'll end up like the trumpies and AfD shills.
As for what's happening in Germany, I think it's a very, very realistic take that if the next 4 years can't tackle migration issue and get the ecomony "going again", we'll have the AfD leading. People are not able to vote with a clear head and they sure as heck don't understand the crisis we are in and had faced in the last years. I might end up in the same situation as anyone who is left in the US that has not gone insane.
Low IQ is the downfall of democracy.
So on the subject of that meeting.
Well I think that was a complete shitshow or rather a made for TV moment. Truthfully world leaders DO talk harshly with one another when they disagree on issues. There are plenty of records of this.
In private.
Publicly like this? Hell. We only should find out about this years down the line from some memoir.
"Life is one long series of problems to solve. The more you solve, the better a man you become.... Tribulations spawn in life and over and over again we must stand our ground and face them."
Trump's being Trump. No amount of disgraceful, fundamentally unworthy behavior can surprise me anymore.
You tried, Zelensky. You and your country are far from perfect, but you sure deserved better than... this.

Can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not
Let's make things clear, this is what makes me mad:

What does it take to make a Lib Dem voter mad? Waitrose running out of avocados?
Apologies in advance if you weren't being sarcastic
The main thing I don't get and I suspect the reason why it ended up like it did - why was Vance there, it made no sense!
Just saying, the only alternative to Trump's suggestion (ceasefire) is indeed WW3, if the US and EU send troops to Ukraine in order to stop Russia, that's WW3. Safety guarantees are essentially the same, you have to send troops to Ukraine.
Zelensky is betting that Europe will fight a unified war against Russia. Sending aid to Ukraine is pointless now since they have not enough manpower so one way or the other, troops have to be sent there by other countries.

Oh Aizen244 you can't help but speak lies and nonsense, can you? Every declaration of "I was right!" is just an admission of you not knowing what is going on. There is a quote that would describe some people on these forums: "The less someone knows, the more stubbornly they knows it".

That's why the 3-days special operation already has 3 years and Russia is using Norks to try to retake Kursk?
Putin wants to end the war because he knows he can't subjugate Ukraine currently. That's why he is using the dementia clown on the White House to do it for him.
Is he? That's why he is using the White House trolls? Putin is literally using the US to try to grab some land, he knows Russia is a weakened regional nation by now.

Tbh, the interview looked really dramatic, the way Trump talked means that Ukraine is in a really bad spot right now. In the end of the day, he is the president of the US, you have to respect him for the position that he has, if he said that, it is true. Ukraine is in a big trouble. They know something that we don't.
