What Zelenskyy did was the best thing anyone could do in that situation. Called this administration out on their bullshit in front of everyone while the bullies made a fool of themselves and then walked away. Never give a bully what he wants, no matter how little it is. Because no matter what it is it WILL be used against you in some fashion.

I mean sure. Except for a few details on that: Zelensky and Ukraine wanted to do a 2nd meeting after cooled off in separate rooms. Trump instead kicked him out. Zelensky also has stated publicly he wants to sign the deal again.

You can't be civil and professional while you're pissed off being shit on from a talking tangerine.

    Trump instead kicked him out.
And he got up and walked out. There is a pretty large group of people that will just sit there and argue till they're blue in the face or till they are physically thrown out. Being the bigger man means walking away from an argument you know won't end in your favor. He walked away mad, but he walked away.

Zelensky also has stated publicly he wants to sign the deal again.
Citation please. Only thing I could find was this.

Also the aggressor isn't just going to forgive those people for putting up an resistance during the conflict. Putin throws his own people into the fire, what do you think is happen Ukrainians who fought against Russia if they agree to the current terms?

Also I think Zelensky made a real point that should be made clear to literally every Trump Simp and Russian simp on this thread. Agreements arent worth anything if you dont have the enforcement mechanisms to deal with it. Zelensky rightfully pointed out that Russia violated every single agreement they ever made.

Mark Rutte, NATO chief, tells Zelenskyy "We have to respect" what Trump has done so far, and "we really have to give Trump credit". Does he think Ukraine is not grateful for what the USA has done so far? Perhaps he's just playing to Trump's ego in an attempt to maintain the integrity of NATO, such as it is.

That is all politics talk and does not reflect reality. Its essentially what Rutte has to say for the unity and cohesion of NATO. Trump has done nothing for Ukraine other than undermine every single negotiation position. All the ongoing aid is leftovers from Biden admin allocations.

Trump has done nothing so far - it was all Biden.

It's weird watching you consistently defend Nazis.
    So you have nothing. Noted.

Zelenskyy really had some strong will, I would have punched Trump in the face as soon as he raised his voice... and I probably would have been riddled with bullets too, bleeding on the oval office floor lol.

Well, do not forget Vance. A punch was deserved in that direction too.

Exactly. That is one of the "cards" Trump incorrectly says Zelenskyy doesn't have.

From Ennius' Annals, "Qui vincit non est victor nisi victus fatetur - The victor is not victorious if the vanquished does not consider himself so."
"For the present this country is headed in directions which can only carry ruin to it and will create a situation here dangerous to world peace. With few exceptions, the men who are running this Government are of a mentality that you and I cannot understand. Some of them are psychopathic cases and would ordinarily be receiving treatment somewhere. Others are exalted and in a frame of mind that knows no reason."

    Why not both?
They both have no idea or they don't care about the history from the fall of the USSR until now in that part of the world. Putin more or less wants to rebuild the former USSR in some form or fashion. Ukraine having open and free elections and the Ukrainians shugging off any Russian/Putin is WHY Putin threw Russian military not once but TWICE aginst Ukraine. He won't stop until he has it all.

Either Trump and company are blindly ignorant, only what to do what Putin and chronies did in Russia (vast money grab to pad their personal pockets, or just arrogant fucks that amount to middle schoolers playing a computer game on world diplomacy.

The fuck has Trump done? Tried to rob Ukraine of their minerals and tried to make a peace deal that gives Russia everything it wants without any input from Ukraine?

If there is something good that has come out of this whole fiasco is that I think pretty much everyone can see how much of slimy fuck Trump is. The support isnt there for him on this.

So here's the problem with that. Magats didn't see the whole press conference they saw specific sliced together segments. I nearly screamed at work when the dipshits were talking about how Zel was hard to work with. I wish Americans were rational but a lot no longer are and are completely insulated from reality.
