"stop puting you idiotic liberal words into my mouth"

The despair of Zelensky not falling for the Trump's (aka Putin's) trap is abismal.

I think Putin would of gone for Ukraine either way because its all about reclaiming the fallen USSR glory days and that seems to be his life mission and he has a dangerous combination of ego and patriotism so the idea Trump or NATO or the UN telling him what to do is flawed logic from the start.
I also think more countries would of rallied behind Ukraine if it was just a flat out invasion. But now with the American meddling its muddied the waters to the point it isnt such a clear cut invasion.
If it helps I agree with much of what you say and the Trump ceasefire "minerals" proposal does seem a bit one sided in favour of Russia and the US. But it is the only deal on the table other than option 2 which you seem to suggest is where we are already and that Ukraine will ultimately be on the winning side. You may be right, I'm not sure.
Last I looked it was around 1 million Ukrainians vs 1.5 million Russians. Both formidable forces and one side will inevitably win, but at what cost in human lives and for how many years of fighting. What is madness is to think that any other European nation even Nato as a whole, can come between these two warring factions neither of whom particularly want peace, with boots on the ground as our Sir Starmer puts it and that anything good will come of it.
The UK has a brigade at best ready to go, so there's 5000 ish troops, no matter who else joins us it won't be enough.
