Will Ukraine turn the tables? I don't know and none here has a way to know about it so following a logical process based on the info that is available to the public we can say that Russia is winning this since it gains ground. This is obviously a problem for the west, they won't let it pass.

You can't underestimate Trump, he won the tariff war with EU, he bombed Iran's nuclear facility and forced a ceasefire, he forced a ceasefire with India/Pakistan, he forced the refugees back to their countries. He has done some stuff. Russia is his only failure so far. When Trump decides to take action, it's usually serious and to the point, so you shouldn't expect some useless sanctions from him, this is going to be interesting because Russia is committed to conquer the entire Ukraine, they already got Chasiv Yar and Pokrovsk will follow soon. They are not willing to back down.

I saw in the news that American nuclear submarines are close to Russian sea. Not sure what is going to happen, the next set of sanctions are going to be very serious and military action is also possible.

Following Medvedev's drunken nuclear posturing over US aid in Ukraine, Trump said he has sent 2 nuclear subs somewhere into Pacific for Russia specifically (ofc there always are those there but eh). Trump’s envoy is expected in Moscow

The Kremlin has insisted that international sanctions imposed since its February 2022 invasion of its neighbor have had a limited impact.

Ukraine insists the sanctions are taking their toll on Moscow’s war machine and wants Western allies to ramp them up. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Monday urged the United States, Europe and other nations to impose stronger secondary sanctions on Moscow’s energy, trade and banking sectors.

I think everyone can agree the ship has sailed in Gaza. There isn't any coming back from whats happening there, especially when you have Ben-Gvir (who I believe is personally responsible for Oct 7th and almost everything after) doing everything he can to antagonize everyone except the extreme right, but there is still hope for Ukraine, still a glimmer that donald can manage to get russia to stop killing people and I hope we will know this week.

I have negative faith in Trump getting anything from Russia as Russia has owned Trump lock, stock, and barrel for the past 10 years easy.

I still worry that Trump will get NATO to purchase arms for Ukraine only for the shipments to “disappear” and show up in Russia to help them. And between Russia owning Trump and even Musk helping them, the fear of the EU picking up the slack is likely a good portion why the US hasn’t just halted aid entirely and let it stick.
