I mean, this is one of many things Russian peeps suddenly are loosing or lost access to. Clothes, media, social media, flights to EU, international soccer representation (and other disciplines follow), currency/economy. The flood gates have opened. The worlds biggest shipping companies have basically just embargoed Russia. No naval blockade needed if shipping companies refuse to handle your stuff.

It is a very real problem both logistically and financially. It's not some peanuts pocket money there to fix both.

The issue is with making the payment for transaction. Mastercard and Visa blocked Russian banks from their financial network. For now, it is all cash transactions in Russia. Obviously, online purchases are screwed.
