Short term answer to a short term problem. Long term of course you’re right but most of the discussion is about the immediate to near term.

My knowledge on cars is somewhat on the lacking side. But if that's true, then my example woulda worked. Because it's not integrated into it then, but rather bypassed by another motor.

The point of the analogy was pointing out that you're insisting I design a system that fully incorporates previous and obsolete design, just by swapping the power source.

Well, ok, yeah, it works for hybrids because they're designed that way, but it's not that easy when retrofitting home appliances...

You still have to completely replace the gas heater, and gas stove

This is clearly an interference by NATO. Sending a decent amount of jets should be enough to warrant action from Russia if they truly believe on what they say.

Heh. It's a bit like what I mentioned earlier in the thread, news moves so quickly everything changes from one moment to the next. What was out of the question yesterday is today's reality. It's surreal, I've never felt anything like it before.

I would have been surprised if it was one and not the other.

Also, Russia is showing how much they can fight back by...review-bombing CDPR.

    No, really.

CDPR was the first major publisher to announce that they would not be selling any of their games like Cyberpunk 2077 or The Witcher 3 in Russia, and were no longer going to operate GOG in the region either.

The result? Thousands of negative reviews have flooded in for Cyberpunk 2077 over the last few days from angry Russian or pro-Russian players who are upset about being cut off, and the CDPR would take this public stand against the country.

German delegation at the UN doing their best acting when Trump blasted Germany for becoming dependant on Russian oil and gas imports.

At this point, NATO should launch massive espionage and surveillance campaign on all levels of the German governance. That state has been thoroughly and completely penetrated by Russian spies and influencers.

I think you don't quite understand things.

What's going on with arms supplies and jets can be considered anything Russia needs at a given time. They could consider NATO chief sneezing an interference if they so desire and act on that.

The reason they don't actively act on this is because it's in their interest to let this slide, Russia is not exactly looking to start actual stand-off with NATO either. Yes, you have all them stronks gestures of putting strategic forces in special alert and so on and so forth, but that's just plain posturing and intimidation (which has some effect btw).

Time to invest in stocks of companies producing electronic appliances I guess.

How about a small business in installing all that? We'd have miles of customers outside our boutique. Longer than Putler convoy.

Going to move back to pirogi and pelmeni. Worst case there is always a good ol' tried and true kartoshka with selyodka.

Problem as always is scale, even besides "who's gonna pay for that". Frankly much of it is not even $ problem, the problem is capacity, scale and time.

Also if you want to invest S&P500 managed investment is your best bet, yes you have the customary market crash every ~11 years, but over time you still earn even with that.

    Funny story...

I was about to post the update about Coca-Cola because it had just popped up on the Guardian's live updates, and before I had the chance to finish the post, the PepsiCo update popped up as well. You can see that the updates are only minutes apart.

Gonna move back to Kvass. Dem good ol' cisterns with a single glass for hundreds. Great disease spreader, but the drink is good.

If they aren't willing to go nuclear over this then they can't do anything, so they probably wont. They'll just have to tank this one and try take out the planes.
