“Do not lose time on daily trivialities. Do not dwell on petty detail. For all of these things melt away and drift apart within the obscure traffic of time. Live well and live broadly. You are alive and living now. Now is the envy of all of the dead.” ~ Emily3, World of Tomorrow
Words to live by.
I disagree. That's a game of cat and mouse, a dog chasing its own tail. It's a useless waste of resource. You still presume that you can reach the degenerates with logic and reason. You can't. They believe whatever they believe. The only way to combat this is to put the money into education. You need to equip people with the tools to handle this new form of illiteracy that we're observing. I call it illiteracy, because I compare the internet to the invention of the book press. People need to learn not just how to read, but now they also need to learn how to filter bullshit.
As far as what you can force people to read, you can't. You're right. But the current degenerates just want to believe something. Opinions become religions. The current generation is fucked. Lost. You can but hope that the degenerates don't burn the world down, anything else is just a bonus.
Also, used to be a time when "antitrust" was a word with meaning in the US. Maybe it's time to kill Facebook and see what happens.

so now republicans are saying that ukraine created covid with hunter biden and putin is a good guy saving everyone
I already know that nukes will be used in this war. You know the saying about a cornered animal.....
Putin is a dictator, though, and one that stylizes himself as the supreme authority. This is his cultivated image of "strength" too.
Can his staff actually subvert his will or demands? I don't think so. I don't think it's a group talk here. I think it just works like Putin ordering something and his will is carried out, no question.
overall, the point I am trying to make is: whether Putin lives or is somehow killed/dies, there is NO positive outcome. Even if nukes are possibly not going to be deployed, this conflict will only end in tragedy and lead to a future catastrophe of the likes we have never seen before. And Putin, alive or not with a legacy, will lay the foundations for it.
There are people that have tried to still remain hopeful or optimistic of the worst case scenario not happening. I just wish (not demand) they dropped those sentiments.
You come across as a kid because you seem to have absolutely no idea how the world really works. If what you're suggesting is true, then why aren't all countries dictatorships?
Dictators get overthrown (by having their will subverted) all the time; they're not immune.
You'd be surprised how many people will disagree with you when you decide to start WWIII by lobbing a nuke preemptively.
That's only your opinion because you're divorced from reality. Your inability to conceive of anything but doomsday is a serious flaw of your thought process.
Nah, bruv.
You still just only see hyperbole. That's not the way the world works.
And if you think the worst case scenario is inevitable, it's a wonder you spend any time even thinking about it. What's the reason, at that point?
