So many of the popped tanks im looking at are on; highways, country roads, or large suburban or exurban arterials. Havent really seen any tanks in a truly urban setting.
I'm meaning European levels of urban, not Strip MAlls of La Jolla.

As for the yesterday's Ukraine's announcement about massed counterattacks - yeah, no... They are not in position for them.
They did, however, make couple of really painful artillery strikes in south-west (Kherson airfield plus one another place).

Some better images of the Kherson airfield attack can be seen here. Quite a few burning helos as well as destroyed ones that might have been from the previous attack.

The site that documents confirmed losses has Russian having lost 30 helos confirmed over the war, and 1350 vehicles all up, including 228 tanks. The true number will be higher as not all losses can be documented.

The US is considering providing Ukraine with Switchblade loitering missiles, along with other gear.

It is a good site, but it has some flaws - no sources for the images (though they can be found if one wishes) and some of them are for the wrong side. Probably 10-20% are misidentified, so in general still good. What I do like about him is that he posts only something that actually has been taken on camera, instead of bold Twitter claims, as it should be.

It is also a good example of Russia's failure in the media war by enforcing mobile phone ban on their troops and starting to post their videos way too late for them, as it draws very onesided picture, while it is not.

From my home city where I was back then, and where I am now, and can reach any part within an hour or so, and check with my own eyes? No destruction except Russian attack on the airport and a couple random single-shot shellings of residential areas coming towards the front not from it. This is now a historical fact from 8 years ago: Ukraine conducted warfare everywhere else, but Donetsk city was instead encircled and blockaded. This "attack" on Donetsk is a Russian fake, they should've done it in a different city to be plausible.

Asking to disintegrate Russia is the same what Russia is asking Ukraine now. It's stupid and will cause more chaos in the future, as repeatedly said here.

Every single modern tank has some variation of them (just look at the Western tank rears, similar cages are widespread), just not on the turret top. They predicted fights in the cities (hello rooftops), thus - cages on the turret.

Any place where infantry can hide out of sight and pop around the corner or tree to fire a missile at you is a bad place for a tank without support to check those area's.

You don't need a European city centre, a forest alongside the road or a few houses is enough.
