Definitely true. China has talked about peaceful unification with taiwan for a very long time. One Country Two Systems. And it was successful for taking back hong kong and Macau. Unfortunately, taiwan government keeps challenging the redline for CCP since they believe US will "defend taiwan" as you guys believe.

If you keep going across redline for this issue, i am afraid CCP has to "unify taiwan by force" eventually.

Families of dead will get compensations and distinctions; law that survivors will be considered "military veterans" (with all associated benefits) is already signed. (and make no mistake, there were a lot of benefits added in previous years)

Oh, I forgot to add that Putin has gotten more Russian soldiers killed in a month than the US lost in Iraq and Afghansistan in 20 years combined.
