    2. It's clear they don't see themselves as "liberators" either anymore. They've given up on the pretense of being there to help. The Ukrainian resistance beat that delusion out of them by now. That's why they've been warcriming left and right.

And note, this is how they act and the resistance they are dealing with in the supposedly pro Russian side of the country.

I'm pretty sure by this junction the Russians would be hard pressed to find people inside Ukraine who would want to be Russian. Even among Russian speakers.
Yeah, I was reading this article earlier and it did explain a few things about the organisation and how it went a bit wrong.

As for the anyone wanting to be Russian, I think the leadership of the DPR and LPR want to, but I wouldn't bet on the population. I'm also not 100% if Russia is all too keen on having them I seem to recall a Duma member saying something to that effect, which just goes to show those republics would be useful fools if my recollection is correct.

You... don't really know how to read, do you?

Because none of those say what you're suggesting.

Also, if you search "Russian friend India", then don't be surprised at what you find, even if it doesn't say what you think it does.

Russia might be finally going for railways at the Donbas frontline. If the plan is to crush ATO, then yes, it becomes an obvious target.

Western bois talking about how separate Ukraine from Russia is are quite funny.

If those are gonna be the same previously talked about Czech BMP-1's and not actual tanks, I will be sorely dissapointed. Sources for actually capable tanks are basically non-existant - Poland (~200+) and a bit of Czech Republic (30 tanks). I am counting only those with actual modernization, because otherwise even Ukrainian T-64's are still better due to upgrades.

This means the tanks likely to be sent to Ukraine will be T-72s and probably older ones (in some cases they may actually be ones Ukraine sold off in the 90s), which means none of the Ukrainian tankers under the age of 40 will have been trained on them and they will be in an equal/worse state of modernization/survivability to the junk Russia failed to invade in.

The only states with decent tanks of the types Ukraine use, and enough of them to make sending some worthwhile, are China and Pakistan, neither of which are likely to want to **** off Russia.
Wrong. Ukraine does use T-72's, in limited amount (couple batallions, IIRC), with recent modernizations. Plan to arm more units with them was on the way but then war started. And it is a relatively small challenge to train/retrain crews, tanks are very similar (remember, T-72 was originally a cheaper mass mobilization version of T-64 - which is primary MBT for Ukraine).
    P.S.
T-84/Oplot - might as well not exist.
T-80 - small quantities but in use.

Frankly, that will probably just be the new MO for Western military training operations. Train pilots to fly Western planes, give them Western planes to protect Western interests, and then sell them more Western planes in the future.
Still, I do not believe they will ever get any F-16 in air before war ends. If old MiG's could not arrive, why the hell should F-series? Same problems aka fear of getting airfields Kalibr'd remains.

Btw, that video shows that the vehicles from what probably was the first battle of the war are still there - that tank turret, especially.

Jesus fuck. If that is verified by the West it is going to mean more sanctions against Russia, hopefully targeting their oil industry and louder calls for a NATO intervention to help Ukraine.

    Russia needs to be demilitarized.

You should really take some time off the internet and work on your reading comprehension.

    Now THIS is interesting:

Remember the other shot down Ka-52's? They were blown up during retreat. If it somehow could be delivered to the West, ASAP, without getting destroyed in missile strike...
Yes, some blocks of electronics were removed (per comments), but it still should be useful for intelligence about high-end Russian equipment.

In some other other news - there might be more episodes of POW torture.

with the unwavering support Zelenksy has received globally in this time of crisis, I hope if he survives this and wins, he doesn't ever bite the hand that feeds him or turn our sour.

A while back I called it, it's a matter of time before the Russians start going full ethnic cleansing. Guess we got there.

Noticed this doing the rounds at the moment - very few sources/articles currently but a lot of whispers across twitter surrounding it.
A Ukrainian negotiator said on Saturday Russia had indicated that draft peace treaty documents were at an advanced enough stage to allow for direct consultations between the two nations’ leaders, Interfax Ukraine reported.

The agency quoted David Arakhamia as telling Ukrainian television that Russia accepted Ukraine’s overall position with the exception of its stance on Crimea.

Colour me intrigued with how closely this follows the highest level talks between EU and China.

Following these past few days especially, you'll be hard pressed to find much outrage at this, tbh.
Personally speaking, my cup of compassion for Russian forces 'just following orders' has run dry.

Russia complained that attacking their fuel depot in Belgorod wasn't conducive to advancing negotiations.

One wonders whether the outright murder of civilians in Bucha will be a similar hindrance to these negotiations.

I still think we should condemn such things, even if we feel they're 'justified' given how the invaders have been acting. We shouldn't applaud anyone trying to stoop to their level.

The reason has been the same since the beginning of time: if you fail to punish such treatment, the enemy will just do the same.

Exactly. We lose grounds to punish wrongdoing of others when we don't hold ourselves / our allies to the same standards.

More of Russia's flags in Kherson region, this time at Nova Kakhovka. *rumours intensify*

Well well, werent we supposed to be equally outraged about all abuses?
You should also understand what such events might mean, no, will mean for the war and future POWs, from both sides.

As for dead bodies and other things - I trust no one and the propaganda pushed by both Russia and Ukraine is tiring. Well, they both learned at the same school from the same books, so...
(incoming wave of outrage in 3, 2, 1...)

I can't wait for the resident russian shills to return to this thread, it's been a while. All this information about increasing rate of russian war crimes is far easier to post and read here now that the trolls are hopefully still banned and not flooding this space with shitposting. Amazing how free flow of information works when there's no giant walls of text blathering bullshit and irrelevant propaganda to drown in what actually is happening!

So it is being alleged that the Russians executed every male in Bucha who was between 16 and 60 years old.

If that's remotely true - and judging by those pictures, it's easy to imagine that it is - this is truly monstrous. I agree with you, Russia needs to be demilitarized. Diplomatical faux pas aside, Biden was completely right in saying what he did about Putin.
