So it is being alleged that the Russians executed every male in Bucha who was between 16 and 60 years old.

If confirmed, it almost looks like Russia is trying to bait the world into jumping in.

Either that or these Russian “Soldiers” are trying to get the rest of the world to jump in and stop them so they can go home.

There is zero chance Russia survives if the world jumps in and their only hope would be for the world to stay out of it WHILE they do this stuff to break their spirit which is more likely to have Ukrainian suicide bombers in Russia targeting Russian leaders and the families of Russian soldiers in response than it will of actually breaking their will.

The more Russia targets civilians, the bigger the targets they place on themselves.

There's a couple of things we see about the Russians after their withdrawals.

1. The Ukrainians calling them "orcs" has been oddly fitting. Tho how a supposedly competent army ended up looking and behaving the way the Russians have been speaks volumes about just how poorly trained, ill disciplined and poorly supplied and commanded they are.

2. It's clear they don't see themselves as "liberators" either anymore. They've given up on the pretense of being there to help. The Ukrainian resistance beat that delusion out of them by now. That's why they've been warcriming left and right.

And note, this is how they act and the resistance they are dealing with in the supposedly pro Russian side of the country.

I'm pretty sure by this junction the Russians would be hard pressed to find people inside Ukraine who would want to be Russian. Even among Russian speakers.

I would rather call russians Skavens - all about numbers, no honor, no empathy, collateral damage is a norm rather than exception...They infest and corrupt everything they touch. And russian invaders being greatest cowards there is. They are rats to be exterminated from Ukrainian territory, including the ones currently occupied by russian-supported separatists.

If the allegation bears out, yeah it is pretty obvious Putler wanted to deny potential soldiers to Ukraine. Of course all he is doing is ensuring Ukraine is going to de-Russiafiy itself as best it can over the coming years and move closer to the West.

And bodies aren't being moved until EOD techs confirm the bodies aren't booby trapped apparently.

If those are gonna be the same previously talked about Czech BMP-1's and not actual tanks, I will be sorely dissapointed. Sources for actually capable tanks are basically non-existant - Poland (~200+) and a bit of Czech Republic (30 tanks). I am counting only those with actual modernization, because otherwise even Ukrainian T-64's are still better due to upgrades.

Wrong. Ukraine does use T-72's, in limited amount (couple batallions, IIRC), with recent modernizations. Plan to arm more units with them was on the way but then war started. And it is a relatively small challenge to train/retrain crews, tanks are very similar (remember, T-72 was originally a cheaper mass mobilization version of T-64 - which is primary MBT for Ukraine).

Sources are saying they'll be T-72s.

I feel like we're going to be seeing an awful lot of this over the next week, as Russian troops retreat to the east and locations are reclaimed by Ukrainian forces.

This is a level and concentration of war crimes that we haven't seen from a state actor in some time.

I don't think their allies will give a shit. Like attracts like and all that, and most 'anti-western' forces are similar breeds of deplorable.

Though these videos and mounting evidence of somehow even worse War crimes than initially expected will put Russia into a very, very poor negotiating position when it comes to future trade agreements or sanction lifting.

Uyghurs are an 'internal matter'. Ukrainians aren't. You're probably right though. On the other hand, if China doesn't want to be affected by Russia's pariah status now would be the time to show at least *some* support.

no, no, NO. THAT is false. As EVERYONE says. The ONLY reason Russia is standing is because of their nukes. Can you imagine what would happen if they didn't have nukes? NATO's technological war machine would devour Russia in one swoop and drag Putin out for prosecution in front of the world in chains.
