You misunderstand. I meant "shit" as in he can log in, see threads he's subscribed to, and go right to the spot he left off reading and not have to wade through tons of shit to get to that point. I tried it on my phone while at work once, trying to find where I left off without logging in? Fucking nightmare. Skroe's posts indeed were rarely shit.

This is 100% how I felt about him. I absolutely disagreed some of his views, but I enjoyed his posts thoroughly.

Ooh, now I understand. Yeah, you're right about that. I'm still bummed that he's permabanned. I know he was a hard debater, but I've never figured he'd do something bad enough to get permabanned.

I think he ended up having a real heated Gamer Moment with one of the usual shitposters (Sulla or Jeezy or someone idk) and it crossed a line after getting infracted a few too many times for the same thing.

It's a loss for this forum and the debate quality. Not that the mod team gives a shit about that.

But more on topic and to directly refute a different shitposter:

Satallite Images show the bodies in Bucha have been there for weeks

Quote Originally Posted by New York Times
An analysis of satellite images by The New York Times rebuts claims by Russia that the killing of civilians in Bucha, a suburb of Kyiv, occurred after its soldiers had left the town.

When images emerged over the weekend of the bodies of dead civilians lying on the streets of Bucha — some with their hands bound, some with gunshot wounds to the head — Russia’s Ministry of Defense denied responsibility. In a Telegram post on Sunday, the ministry suggested that the bodies had been recently placed on the streets after “all Russian units withdrew completely from Bucha” around March 30.

Russia claimed that the images were “another hoax” and called for an emergency U.N. Security Council meeting on what it called “provocations of Ukrainian radicals” in Bucha.

But a review of videos and satellite imagery by The Times shows that many of the civilians were killed more than three weeks ago, when Russia’s military was in control of the town.

One video filmed by a local council member on April 2 shows multiple bodies scattered along Yablonska Street in Bucha. Satellite images provided to The Times by Maxar Technologies show that at least 11 of those had been on the street since March 11, when Russia, by its own account, occupied the town.

To confirm when the bodies appeared, and when the victims were likely killed, the Visual Investigations team at The Times conducted a before-and-after analysis of satellite imagery. The images show dark objects of similar size to a human body appearing on Yablonska Street between March 9 and March 11. The objects appear in the precise positions in which the bodies were found after Ukrainian forces reclaimed Bucha, as the footage from April 2 shows. Further analysis shows that the objects remained in those position for over three weeks.

The causes of death are unclear. Some of the bodies were beside what appears to be an impact crater. Others were near abandoned cars. Three of the bodies lay beside bicycles. Some have their hands bound behind their backs with white cloth. The victims were scattered over more than half a mile of Yablonska Street.

A second video taken on Yablonska Street shows three more bodies. One lies beside a bicycle, another near an abandoned car. Satellite imagery shows that the abandoned cars and the nearby body appear between March 20 and 21.

These are just some of the civilian victims discovered since Saturday. The Associated Press published images of at least six dead men lying together in the rear of an office building, some with hands tied behind their backs. The building is one mile west of the other victims found along Yablonska Street.

Another mile further along, a photographer with The Times discovered the body of a man with a gunshot wound to his head lying beside a bicycle.

    *cough*

Duh, Faygo Whore, I mean, Fog Of War. You don't know, you weren't there. Gotta wait. No proof they were even killed by Russians as they peacefully left the city.

    *cough*

Hopefully that covered the expected shitposting response as a tl;dr.

    That's not true!

Sahara has sand that could provide the silicon used in solar panels, and is also a suitable place for solar panels. There are also some other resources that are interesting in that desert.

I'm not an expert, but from the little I understand, it's not quote as simple as "throwing some sand into a machine" and out comes a solar panel on the other side. Sand has lots of silicon in it, true. But it's very impure. And you need pure silicon for... well, anything you want to do with silicon really.

Sorry, I have no idea why I'm even diving into this, I know you're not entirely serious. The cost of digging up shit in the Sahara is too high at any rate. And the same goes for Russia. They are increasing the political cost to deal with them to such an extent that they push themselves out of the global market.

Russia is totally dependent on (mostly the West) for advanced machinery/key components/spare parts needed to produce various high end components domestically.
Their tech infrastucture, advanced medical equipment, communication, aviation among other things will not only be unable to keep its current level but decline.

Russia really fucked it up with that one. That's what happens when you unleash unwashed horde with little to no restrictions, inept command and Russian army's culture of intimidation and brutality even towards its own. They end up robbing, murdering and raping their way through.

If this does not make EU put up energy embargo and increase heavy arms supplies, I don't know what else.

I saw that. Hesitated about posting it here, decided not to because Bucha hit me hard. It's difficult to imagine what could be worse than Bucha, and knowing that those pictures and those stories will probably make the rounds tomorrow is tough. I saw as well, just now, that someone said that tonight may be the worst night of bombing in cities all across Ukraine since the war started. It's really, really getting to me by now. Russia needs to be stopped.

The truly shocking thing is the time table the Russians decided to attack. They know damn well the weather and ground conditions in that area. Truth is even with their insanely rancid performance if they had attacked in late May or early June they could have just pressed their weight on the Ukrainians on a broad front instead of being contained to roads that set them up for easy ambushes and much more easily surrounded with their armor advantage. They lost all advantage of the ability to maneuver and use speed in the open field over most the country.

As for the EU energy embargo.. I got my doubts.. they seemed very eager to turn the blind eye on these things for a lower heating bill.

    How did this happen?

The Kremlin has been pushing the "evil Ukrainian Nazis" bullshit for months. Then sent in a bunch of barely trained, overworked (they been on exercises for weeks to months) conscripts (of an army that is absolutely notorious for treating its men brutally and that has an institutionally ingrained culture of hazing, abuse and harassment) with no gear, no food, no supplies, no support, no plan, no discipline, no professional NCOs to keep order.

Everyone they run across hates their fucking guts, they get their asses kicked by left and right. It's just a matter of time before everything devolves into Lord of Flies and frankly I doubt the Russian's upper command actually has the means to restore order at this point. Assuming they wanted to...because they might be worried that if they'd tried they might just end up with a mutiny.

Is the Russian army just full of impotent monsters taking out their failures on innocent civilians?

I hate to admit it, but the longer this goes on, the more convinced I become that Putler isn't the problem, it's Russia/Russian culture itself that is the problem.
