But they kind of have to sell oil at a loss to keep the wells flowing. If you can't keep pumping because storage fills up then the wells break and it isn't quick or cheap to open them again. Especially given western companies pulled out, taking with them the knowledge and equipment to do so.

As a swede i havent seen anything confirmed but our prime minister has changed her mind about it and I dont think there is any notable opposition to it, probably only the communists if so since they were also the only ones opposing sending weapons to ukraine.
