Boris? Brave? This is the man that hid in a fridge to avoid an interview with a Breakfast TV journalist. If there is anything "brave" about the UK response (and I have serious doubts that there is) then it's nothing to do with Boris.

Didn't have any good press lately, with his corona parties that ended with just a fine. The war, where he can step up and internationally stomp his foot, seems like a godsend.

Different topic: just read an article about Russian tourists stuck abroad due to war and sanctions. Dem rich elites suddenly having no money on them with banking system closed, having to pay the bills with jewellery and furs they just bought. Ain't easy being Russian nowadays.

Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

I'd kinda wanna see Russia try to menace Mongolia as I'm not sure China is going to be as quiet about them as it is about Ukraine.

Why is Boris the Brave the only leader to be banned from Russia? Surely it's a badge of honour any respectable western leader would be pleased to receive.

Is it because we are the first to admit the UK has troops on the ground in Kyiv?

The UK has made no such admission.

I don't think they will either, even if it was true and if it is true then the Telegraph is extremely idiotic for publishing it. Also, Drivel seems to ignore Biden was already banned.

Russian air force Tu-22M bombers flew into Ukrainian air space on Thursday and dropped unguided bombs on Ukrainian troops in the besieged city of Mariupol, on the Sea of Azov coast.
It was the first time the 120-ton, swing-wing, supersonic bombers directly have raided Ukraine since Russia widened its war on the country starting the night of Feb. 23. Before the Mariupol mission, the Tu-22Ms attacked Ukraine without leaving Russian air space—by firing long-range cruise missiles.

We could just ask all the Fox News personalities...

It's a job, the best ones at it get a lot of $$. Like that Soloviev guy, who has villas and apartments in that evil and rotten West. You can bet he has quite a bit of them accursed greenbacks stashed for a rainy day somewhere too.

Wonder if they switched to UGB because they are effectively out of guided munitions or if they want 'revenge' for the sinking of the Moskva even though the Russian government claims a fire caused an ammo detonation and then a storm sank the ship as it was under tow. Why would they need to get revenge on Ukraine for something Russia says they had nothing to do with?

Nothing to do with revenge, they need to cap Mariupol in like a week for various reasons, so likely will go hard next few days.

He's not. He wasn't even the first.

Russia barred more than 300 Canadians from entering its territory on Tuesday, as it retaliated against Canada and the United States over the growing array of economic sanctions imposed in response to its invasion of Ukraine.

The blacklisted Canadians include most elected members of the House of Commons, from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and all three official opposition leaders, to a host of front-bench cabinet ministers and MPs from all parties.

Russia's foreign ministry said it was issuing a "stop list" to prevent members of the Biden administration from entering Russia.

The list includes President Joe Biden, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley, national security adviser Jake Sullivan, CIA Director William Burns, press secretary Jen Psaki, deputy national security adviser Daleep Singh, USAID Administrator Samantha Power, Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Wally Adeyemo and U.S. Export-Import Bank President and Chair Reta Jo Lewis.

Curious why we are the only European nation with their leader banned considering Ukraine is on their doorstep. I suppose if Putin has a $1bn a day war to fund, and the EU gang are sending him $1bn a day for his oil then they won't be unwelcome in Moscow anytime soon.

Yes, because EU still slurps on that pipe and gives Putin nice $$ to fund his "special operation".

not sure how all this concern for who gets their oil from someone else is suddenly an issue. as if the world's consumption of oil isn't some incestuous web of one shitty country giving their oil to another marginally less shitty country. IDK, maybe if we all actually decided to move past fossil fuels this wouldn't be a problem.

Is that not the plan long term ? Unless you get a magic plan ?
