people, I don't mean to turn this into some kind of contest, but all I said was singling out the GOP for pedophilia in the headlines is technically wrong. Pedophilia is a worldwide issue, with innumerable leftists guilty of it and several nations (including Japan and Korea) having legalized industries based around child abuse left untouched despite alliances with the US.
Just because the GOP houses some scum guilty of it, like if it hypothetically houses secret mob bosses or political terrorists, it should not be headlined in such a way that it implies it's all the party is known for and should be abolished for doing nothing good but housing criminals and dissidents.
"Truth...justice, honor, freedom! Vain indulgences, every one(...) I know what I want, and I take it. I take advantage of whatever I can, and discard that which I cannot. There is no room for sentiment or guilt."

In the thread @Rozz closed "Confederate KKK Statue" you did not say a single word about the OP saying all statues were Confederate and/or KKK.
And we've seen your post history, in which you blame Biden for (a) things that aren't really problems, such as failing to scream at a world leader on live TV, and (b) things Trump did worse, despite your post history of defending Trump.
You are trying to derail this thread by changing the topic from Josh Duggar, to all the GOP. Please, stop.

I found the statement his wife wrote and posted.
You will note there is no cry of innocence. Which matches what this thread was discussing until just recently (glares). They are playing the "whaaaaaaa? I had no idea" card, which, yeah, we've been talking about that, and that's questionable. But they aren't saying he didn't do it.Today was difficult for our family. Our hearts go out to the victims of child abuse or any kind of exploitation. We are thankful for the hard work of law enforcement, including investigators, forensic analysts, prosecutors, and all others involved who save kids and hold accountable those responsible for their abuse.
Nobody is above the law. It applies equally to everybody, no matter your wealth, status, associations, gender, race, or any other factor. Today, the people of the Western District of Arkansas made that clear in their verdict. As a Christian, we believe we are all equal at the foot of the cross, and, likewise, we are all equal under the law. Jesus warned his disciples, “…[b]eware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. Nothing is covered up that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. Therefore, whatever you have said in the dark shall be heard in the light, and what you have whispered in private rooms shall be proclaimed on the housetops.” (Luke 12:1-3).
Moreover, “[h]e who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the righteous are both alike an abomination to the Lord.” (Proverbs 17:15). We have been lied to so much that we wanted to hear the evidence for ourselves in court. After seeing all the evidence as it was presented, we believe that the jury reached a just verdict today, consistent with the truth beyond a reasonable doubt.
Josh’s actions have rippled far beyond the epicenter of the offense itself. Children have scars, but his family is also suffering the fallout of his actions. Our hearts are sensitive to the pains Josh’s wife, Anna, and their seven children have already endured and will continue to process in the future. This trial has felt more like a funeral than anything else. Josh’s family has a long road ahead. We stand with them, we are praying for them, and we will seek to support them however we can during this dark time.
Why is this important? Because they're filing an appeal. Which means, since there's no claim whatsoever he's innocent, they're looking for technicalities to (extremely bad joke removed) get him acquitted.
It will be an uphill struggle, to say the least. The jury convicted within seven hours. The evidence is damning, and even if it wasn't, lots of people despise pedophiles. It's way up there with people who cheat on their wives, fire people without reason, don't pay people for work they did and take credit for it themselves, don't pay taxes, call people non-Americans because they're black, promise to prosecute political rivals, embolden a pandemic that's killed hundreds of thousands of people, or attempt to violently overthrow their own country based on an objective lie.
I am curious in your reality, did Roy Moore not exist? the GOP funded and campaigned for a pedophile heck he married the evidence. You also have Matt Gaetz, Donald Trump, Madison Cawthorn, Brett Kavanaugh, Clarence Thomas. The GOP loves their villains and elevates them to positions of power, that's not even going into the Qanon and very open white supremacists in the party.
In the case of the Duggar's and their pseudo cult its nit even gay people. They are on some sick stuff and to sum up their beliefs men are cant keep from acting like monsyers and its all the fault of women. Also women should accept and repent for the crimes against them. And they practically molded Josh into what he has become. More than one person needs to be locked up.

And now in a twist of fate, after Josh Duggar gets convicted, Jana Duggar, Josh's sister, is charged with endangering the welfare of a minor, because she knew, and didn't say anything about it.

She got the charge in September, but the documentation of the charge isn't available as to why she got the charge. So, I am guessing the minor, is still a minor. Which is BADDDDDD.
