Low pop servers have been an ongoing issue that Blizzard refuses to solve. It only gets worse
Even A52's been feeling pretty lonely these days. Game's in a pretty sorry state at the moment, population-wise. I hope 9.2 brings some life back but even for a diehard fan like myself I'm getting a late-WoD-right-before-Legion-prepatch feeling from the state of things.
Guild I'm in is on a low pop, connected realm at the moment, and there are literally 3 raiding guilds on Alliance and Horde combined. We'll shortly be moving to a High/Full pop realm because recruiting is impossible where we are, and frankly as others have stated, Blizzard aren't really addressing the issue at all.
It makes it even worse that we'll have to pay for guild and character transfers... leaves a bitter taste in my mouth, but it is what it is.
FOMO: "Fear Of Missing Out", also commonly known as people with a mental issue of managing time and activities, many expecting others to fit into their schedule so they don't miss out on things to come. If FOMO becomes a problem for you, do seek help, it can be a very unhealthy lifestyle..
you mean to tell me that there aren't many people playing at the end of a content patch? Shocking...
Blizzard offers free server transfers to low-pop servers, from high-pop servers and servers with severe faction imbalance, and adds connected servers... and yet you claim Blizzard "refuses to solve" the issue. What would be "solving the issue" in your mind? Hard-merging all the low-pop servers into one singular server and screwing people when we have two characters with the same name and one is forced to change it?
"WoW is Dying/Dead" type threads don't tend to produce much in the way of constructive discussion or debate. Closing this.
"We're more of the love, blood, and rhetoric school. Well, we can do you blood and love without the rhetoric, and we can do you blood and rhetoric without the love, and we can do you all three concurrent or consecutive. But we can't give you love and rhetoric without the blood. Blood is compulsory. They're all blood, you see." ― Tom Stoppard, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead
