I haven't seen it mentioned, but BFA and SL are the first time we got musical instrument animations (lutes and harps in SL, flutes and accordion in BFA) that weren't ETC or the guitar animations from ages ago. SL also features a Minstrel NPC (specifically called Minstrel, not Bard) who is playing a lute in Maldraxxus.

No idea where violins are.

Lute playing animation comes from Cataclysm. Russell Brower, Dwarf bard in the Twilight Highlands.

Also got used in Legion in the Rogue order hall, I believe.

Obviously not. But I mean sometimes having those quests updated IS a sign of something being added. The Darkshore one was altered just shortly before Legion, so a Dark Ranger one being updated might indicate something similar - be it a skin or a customization option or a class, the latter being least likely.

Level scaling is terrible. And people complained about it independant of item level scaling, because they didn't like how things leveled up with them. The whole point of an RPG and leveling up is to become stronger. That is invalidated when things level up with you.

Yes, but compared to this crap, the leak of him was somehow believeable. And having it a second time OK, in the Story it make sense, but this does not work out for a third time.

But Dragon Isles as a theme was known far far longer. And Dragon, Dragons, Dragonflight: you don't need an Harvard Diplome to use it on your fake leak. He was just lucky enough that he found the right title for the expansion, nothing more.

Level scaling is terrible. And people complained about it independant of item level scaling, because they didn't like how things leveled up with them. The whole point of an RPG and leveling up is to become stronger. That is invalidated when things level up with you.

The whole point of an RPG is to get punished because you out level content? Level scaling and item level scaling still allows progression and the feeling of getting powerful. It just needs to be balanced and have the ranges not be so dramatic but even now there is a clear mark of "I have the gear to handle it". Doing stuff in leveling gear vs max for that tier still provides you becoming stronger.

It just isn't reflected in "green/grey" quest and other indicators. Perception though is a large part of a lot of problems with WoW complaints.

No, i'm just angry that there are so many naiive people who takes this leak so seriously since the OP managed to use the right title. It’s not that serious, my dude. It’s a bunch of cool, different ideas. Hype isn’t that weird; nice to see some people excited about something WoW for once. If it turns out this is all fake, and next expac is a bummer, life moves on.
