Wanting to show clearly distraught players crying is kinda...odd, to be charitable about it.
Yeah the offense got the ball back with 2:30 to play needing to just get into FG range and chew clock.

The loss is squarely on them not being able to move the ball at all, giving up I think 2 sacks on that drive alone, and Burrow getting a grounding call to avoid a third sack.

You might could have gotten a holding call on 65 on that pay to in a regular season game.

Clearly, the officiating is trash. But the notion the game was rigged so the NFL can promote two African American QBs in the SB is gross nonsense.

Seeing that stupidity flood my timeline in the morning sours me toward the whole thing. I would want the NFL to rig every game just the spite the men in their feelings over a football game to the point of racism.

My takeaway from this game is that I am even more disappointed in the Bills lack of pass rush after seeing what the Chiefs did yesterday.

Kellen Moore is supposedly going to be the Chargers OC. I somehow missed he left the Cowboys and that McCarthy is going to call plays next year? Not sure that is the best idea.

Completely forgot there were games yesterday, but I see Ron Torbert's crew lived up to expectations. I don't understand how he got a championship game and Carl Cheffers gets the SB.

So Kelce Bowl is happening. Prepare for a close up of Mahomes chewing his mouthpiece, just like Curry, every 5 minutes.

You probably missed it because they announced it like 10 minutes before the AFC Championship kicked off.

Oh yeah, MVS is in the Super Bowl.

    Great.

Can the Packers please change their mind about Joe Barry and Gutey?

Report: 49ers QB Brock Purdy has complete UCL tear, needs surgery
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy sustained a complete tear of the ulnar collateral ligament in his throwing elbow and will need surgery, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports.

Per the report, the hope is that he can avoid complete reconstruction of the ligament in the form of Tommy John surgery. A repair rather than a reconstruction could allow Purdy to return in time for training camp next season, according to the report.
Well this sucks, and it explains why he only handed off the ball.

Apparenty if he avoids Tommy John it'll be a 6 month recovery and he can be back hopefully for training camp (and the inevitable battle with Trey Lance to start). If it is Tommy John, he could miss all next season.

I'd like to see the NFL reimplement the emergency QB rule so that we can avoid both the extremely dull ending to this game, and the player safety concern of having an obviously injured player forced to return.

Getting a third QB in likely would not have affected the outcome, but it would've been more interesting than handing off until the clock ran out.

I saw a headline that says he told shanahan mid-game he couldn’t throw the ball. When a player is admitting they can’t do something you know it’s serious.

I wish Fox zoomed out on his warm up throws on the sideline, but the trajectory looked like he wasn't even throwing 10 yards with little velocity.

It says a lot about the folks who saw him tell Shanahan he couldn't go and decided that "he doesn't have the thoughness for the NFL."

Guy had an injury that could sideline him until 2024 yet he ended up going back in and being a handoff machine. If nothing else, Purdy's someone who should have a long journeyman career.

Yeah or his injury could mean he never plays again. Tommy John is no guarantee for a return to how good he was, especially not if he misses all of next season. It;s not like in other sports where you just spot a player returning from injury some minutes here and there to help him rehab. The QB either starts or he's not playing.

Exceedingly unlikely, this surgery has a nearly 50 year track record at this point, and there is still no indication he will even need it.

I know the pro bowl is completely irrelevant now, but enough AFC QBs being hurt or declining for Tyler Huntley to make it is funny.

The best part is that Huntley is replacing Allen, and Allen is officially "injured"....but he's playing in a celebrity golf tournament that weekend instead, lol.

The age-old tradition of guys "being injured" to dodge the Pro Bowl. I imagine Burrow's done it too to get Carr in there.

Bengals had their opportunities to seal up the game and didn't do it. Ultimately that's on them. Need to develop Cordell Volson, and start looking for two tackles.
Just to clarify I'm not saying it was intentional, just in this instance the Bengals got the short end of the stick on some critical calls in the 4th quarter.
