Green Bay's gonna have some interesting questions this offseason, and it's going to start this week with "do we retain Joe Barry?" The D's been improved down the stretch but how much of that is him coaching better and how much is just he was told to stop using Jaire like an idiot and let him shadow.
Then comes the question of if it's Jordan Love time. I said it's fitting this season ends on a Rodgers misfire, and that's because he has not looked like Aaron Rodgers since their losing streak began. How much is injury and how much is just he's hitting the late-career slide?

Been a while since Rodgers loses a game in December/January.
That was a great trick play to pull out! So sad the Lions aren't going to the playoffs, they are fun to watch.
Kinda feel bad after that ending. Lions should be in the playoffs.
Yeah this offseason it would need to be a trade. Honestly, they're probably trading one of their QBs either way just a question of who. They've already burnt Love's entire rookie deal if they don't trade Rodgers this offseason.

Lovie winning that final game and costing Houston the #1 pick is such a great FU to that organization now that they fired him five minutes later.
Good luck with your hiring, such a great track record of treating coaches like shit.

The Niners when they fired coaches back to back after 1 year had at least a controversy at GM and cleaned house before they brought in their current tandem of Shanahan and Lynch. The Texans expect to do this with Caserio staying in place.
To be honest, Caserio has had a difficult tenure, with the QB who shall not be named being a rapist asshole and the incredible mess from the Bill O'Brien era. His work on getting that trade done and what he got in return was very shrewd and he;s forged a situation with draft capital and cap space now.
I won;t blame him for the coaching carrouseel cause that seems to have been owner inspired, but this is his first year with cap space and draft capital, so if he's going to get anything done it has to be now. I suspect however that the Texans will want to bring in a HC with some influence on the personnel decisions, so Caserio might end up not being able to do anything afterall and just be the scapegoat for cleaning up Bill O'Brien's mess and end up fired next year when the coach they bring in wants him gone.
There's even the chance that Caserio still gets fired I think, depending on who the coach is they bring in.
In the end, there's only 32 NFL HC positions and SOMEONE is going to bite to take this rare opening, but I'm going to assume that person is going to try and get ironclad guarantees about their employment.
Kingsbury canned. Giving him an extension was questionable, but the Cardinals aren't exactly known for being a well ran team.
Also Keim confirmed he is going to be stepping away permanently because of his health issues that kept him away from the team part of this year. So whether it was nudging from ownership or not, it's a clean slate in Arizona.
Now question is what do the new team think of the QB there.
