The best part is that Huntley is replacing Allen, and Allen is officially "injured"....but he's playing in a celebrity golf tournament that weekend instead, lol.

The age-old tradition of guys "being injured" to dodge the Pro Bowl. I imagine Burrow's done it too to get Carr in there.

The head ref doesn't have a history of doing that.

It's just that officiating have streaks of incompetence. But we've talked to death about possibly making them full-time in hopes that it would address the issue. Not sure if that idea is gaining any momentum.

Bengals had their opportunities to seal up the game and didn't do it. Ultimately that's on them. Need to develop Cordell Volson, and start looking for two tackles.

Just to clarify I'm not saying it was intentional, just in this instance the Bengals got the short end of the stick on some critical calls in the 4th quarter.

My takeaway from this game is that I am even more disappointed in the Bills lack of pass rush after seeing what the Chiefs did yesterday.

The Bills defense is a totally different unit without Von Miller and KC had the second best pass rush in the league this year(a distant second, admittedly). I wouldn't read too much into it.

Yeah, I hate this hire. Sean Payton is massively overrated and still stuck with Wilson and probably George Paton if firing him isn't part of Payton agreeing to it.

I'd be fine with the hire, but not giving up a 1st and a 2nd for him. Especially after the Wilson trade.

If these guys aren't Prime Payton-Brees good, then Denver is going to be a bottom feeder team for the next 3-5 years.

That's about as good a compensation as I expected, late first and a trade-up isn't bad, and he's out of the conference. Just about the best case scenario since nobody was gonna really overpay for him.

No, that's in Seattle for the Wilson trade. Broncos really outdone the Rams with their pick bonanza, but their results from it are not a Superbowl win.

Never say never, but I just have a gut feeling he will retire for good this time. He's 45, and he's not willing to stay in the pocket to make throws when he knows he is going to get lit up. I don't blame him, though. Hell of a career, and most of his records will go untouched.
