I don't have an "official" answer, but I would recommend https://github.com/darkreader/darkreader in the meantime.

In my opinion, the "dark" version is a lot easier on the eyes but still "looks like MMO-C"

BRAVE browser (also on Mobile) has a built in dark mode for such sites that don't have them. It ain't perfect but does the job.
