OP, I expect a public apology. You better start writing it early.

No, they're right. The mechanical theme is pervasive throughout WoW. You just keep holding on tightly to your blinders. WoW is a mix of a very large number of themes, this particular one isn't more sidelined than the average, and is actually more prominent in many cases. Even the Blood Elves consider their golem builders to be engineers and technicians, not wizards.
Your arguments all ring hollow because they could be leveled against just about anything in the game.
Not really, Tinker Leaker is the April Fool's joke, literally Blizzard calling everyone making leaks and fake leaks a joke.

As I read it, Blizzard trolling everyone who makes "leaks".

But but.. It is easiest to sell edgy and dark, than anything else.
FOMO: "Fear Of Missing Out", also commonly known as people with a mental issue of managing time and activities, many expecting others to fit into their schedule so they don't miss out on things to come. If FOMO becomes a problem for you, do seek help, it can be a very unhealthy lifestyle..
True. I’m pretty sure that most expansion “leaks” mention Tinker, even in expansions where it wouldn’t make sense. (Like those Shadowlands “leaks” that had tinker.)
Plus outside the name the April fools joke doesn’t even really talk about actual tinkers kekw
I saw it a bit as them as subtly poking fun at the bards and the silly idea of a pure support class too.

I love the positive energy in this thread! I think there's going to be a lot of people pleasantly surprised in 18 days!

I suppose you could say that if your intention is to completely and dishonestly misrepresent my arguments.
Really?! Care to link to some of those discussions? Because all I know about is about the runemaster, and nothing concrete was said about why they did not pick that particular concept.Plenty! And in none of those times have professions been brought up as the reason that those concepts didn't make the cut.

Again: "3 for 3" we should've had a class in Shadowlands. How did that go?
And in case you try to duck out of way of my point again: patterns are bullshit if your intention is to state facts about future classes.
It wasn't a Tinker joke, it was a leaker joke, Tinker was just a fluff addition. Now if they'd actually described Tinkers in a joking way I'd agree it's not happening, but really, it had nothing to do with Tinkers, and entirely to do with leak culture.
Now, Bards on the other hand...
Adding a new class is probably one of the most effective ways to get the casual playerbase to come back. People like to get shiny new toys they can play with, and a new class is exactly that. After the back-to-back failure of BfA and SL, I think a new class is almost a guarantee for 10.0

This is what I've been saying as well. I don't think it eliminates the possibility that we might get Tinkers in the future; maybe even as early as 10.0.
I agree with this; they really need to go big this time and they know what that means.

Like, it honestly is entirely a meta joke; casual fans who don't follow speculation and don't know what Tinkers are, they wouldn't even know the joke even mentions a class people actually talk about.
