Why is this something people even talk about? I remember people suggesting Mages getting blue fire spells, because Warlock got green fire spells. Don't people understand Warlock got green fire cause fel is green?

It was time exclusive for quite a while, so it's mostly just prestige, the same reason why "magical fire" (usually blue) would be prestigeous for mages. Even if they brought it back, it doesn't really change the historical context.

Speaking of new Troll-like race, I'd love to play as Dark Troll in the Alliance. Like, they've never had bonds with other troll tribes / the Horde, and have decided to join the Alliance because of their alliance with the Elves during the Battle at Mount Hyjal. I know they're said to be extinct, but there could be still one surviving community within the Barrow Deeps.

On the other side, we would have Alteraci Humans in the Horde (with the thin human model).

They are all but dead. Last one is in Zandalar.
